For me, I have to take a Dramamine in order to tackle my motion sickness while flying in a plane. Recently, I've been getting nervous..especially at take off and landing. So since I have to fly out soon, I bought this pill called Happy to Fly (WTF name is that?!) that's suppose to help with anxiety and stress while flying. Hopefully it'll do its job.

Anyone here have the same problems flying?

Hopefully Hanna isn't making your fears of motion sickness worse...

I ahve no problems flying, though, I don't fly that often.

I've felt similar to that on my first time. I didn't really have to take anything to help, since I got used to it later.

I enjoy flying, even though I haven't flown much...

Sometimes, my ears hurt while flying.

But chewing gum usually helps that for some reason. Other times not.

I'm bringing a few books to read and I need to finish Crisis Core, so hopefully they'll also keep my mind off of it.

I only get sick and anxious on the return trip because I hate Spokane so much...

I enjoy flying, and I always have... the only problem I have with it is that there isn't ever enough room on the airplane (though it's not too much of a problem unless you have to use the restroom while on a plane).

I tend to get excited coming back. Especially since the airplane flies over my store and I get to see everything that I know from high up. And that the plane ride is almost over.

At random, when I fly my ears kill- head-splitting pain, and I can barely hear for the next twenty-four hours... the strange thing is that there seems to be no real pattern for this, sometimes when I fly there's no problem at all. (It seems to be becoming less frequent as of late, which is good)

Eh, I used to have problems flying (paranoia-wise), but I've since gotten over them.

Nope. That's just common sense that everyone knows why your ear pops/problems while on a plane.

I have no problem with flying, as long as there is no turbulence. That would probably scare me quite a bit. I've never been into any serious turbulence, though. I have only done domestic flights (in Norway), so I wouldn't know if you experience turbulence more often when flying abroad (longer distances = increased risk of something happening?)

Y'know, I've only flown once, so I can't really form much of an opinion
But the one time I did, I had no trouble, other than the whole awkwardness with the ears when you're ascending and descending.

Teconmoon didn't seem to understand why, and Imajin was kind of vague too, that's why I wondered.

Turbulence isn't terribly fun, but I manage not to really worry about if I'm going to crash and burn or anything.

I thought it was common enough knowledge But people are affected differently as to the degree...

Flying is fun. Lift-off / landing however, isn't. My ears are very sensitive and it really hurts.

Turbulence is fun too. Feels like a rollercoaster

It has been a really, really long time since I've been on an airplane. So I don't remember it well enough to know if I had any problems.

Looking at the comments on ear pain makes me wonder if it's unusual that I can depressurize my ears whenever I want, without doing anything like yawning or such.

Love flying.

Strangely, I'm also afraid of heights...
