This is usually when I would start watching something or just plain doing something (preferrably before Hiryuu starts nagging me to watch whatever it is he had me download a week+ ago), but bleh.

Though I do agree, you don't need to actively pursue something to be a fan of it, if you did, I couldn't say I'm a fan of half the things I like. There's not enough time in the day to pay attention to everything, you'd go insane trying to, and I'd go insane trying to figure out why you wanted to.
