It's bloody hard to photograph cats. For one thing, they move too much. Most of my photos were blurry because the cat moved at the last second.
However, I've been trying to take some "nice" photographs of my kitten, and I think I'm starting to get somewhere. I tend to notice that I get the better photographs when I try earlier in the day, and I like to use the Macro lens to try to get the detail in my kitten's fur in. ![]() She was only this serene for a very short time -- this was immediately followed by a brutal attack upon the scratching post. ![]() I wanted to show that along with funny patches of colour in Evie's mostly black fur, she has different coloured paw pads too. ![]() Sunlight, contrast and KITTEH ![]() This one I like, but it's a bit screwed up. Too much light, or I moved or both? ![]() Miss Evie, it's time for your close-up... ![]() I think I must have moved ever so slightly, this one's only a touch blurry... ![]() More interesting lighting. Overall, I'm finding it very hard to photograph my kitten And harder to keep both her and myself still. Every now and then it works, but I'm not sure how to handle the lighting with some of this stuff...Anyway, comment, critique, suggestions on how to make the sunlight seem "sunnier", or if it even needs it? EDIT: MOAR ![]() One of the few closeups where she didn't move ![]() I like that I was able to get such detail in her fur this time ![]() Softer lighting, sleepy kitten. ____________________ "...and, in the end, the love you take, is equal to the love you make" |
