That is some amazing hackage there. Probably the best music I've heard in an SMW hack too.
Only thing, the sound when you run full speed bugs the crap out of me because it's so much like the DS' alarm clock sound.  Is a sound effect necessary at all? It'd probably get annoying after a while.____________________ |

I think those "pipes" stand out too much, though. Maybe you could make them a bit darker. ____________________

I don't want the rocks to look too bright. It is dirt/rock after all. True, it's daytime but if you look at dirt in the day it's not too terribly bright. Even so I lightened it up a tiny but, played with the pipes and changed that jutting pipe into more land tiles. The reason it might seem dark is because of the rain effect that's going over it. It adds a small darker blue tint to the palette. Here's a comparison for you with the rain on (Layer 3 on) and the rain off (Layer 3 off).  Try and guess where the hidden missile is. (Not too hard really...  )____________________ |

| So you couldn't just change the color overlay on those tiles into the same palette as the dirt instead? It would look better than the green, I think.
