The difference is I admit what happened in IRC wasn't my business. It doesn't make sense to me, and I'm not trying to understand it.

What is this difference we're talking about? Your post makes no sense.

Your naive assumption that people change within a month or two is hereby noted.

Indeed, for you have not changed either, since the last time we clashed swords. You are using the same fallacies as before. In general:

Your arguments go as thus:

"It was a while ago, so it doesn't matter anymore."

Missing the point. They have a known history of bad adminship and haven't done anything to contradict it yet. If they have, it has not been enough to end the long standing rifts they caused, and as recent as two-something or so weeks ago Blackhole was still trying to explain to me how the Acmlm split was all everyone else's fault and that he was the victim.

Yeah. And I'm the freaking Batman.

The next fallacy you commit is this:

"You disagree with me, therefore you are flaming me. Flaming me is not allowed. Therefore you are not allowed to disagree with me."

The problem isn't that this one is invalid in form, but rather one of your premises is false. Disagreeing with you is not flaming, therefore the conclusion does not happen. Therefore people are allowed to disagree with you--regardless of how much you attempt to distort reality to suit your ends.

Another argument for me to tear to shreds:

"You called me a name, therefore your argument is irrelevant."

Missing the point, yet again. You ignore arguments made at you the minute anybody does anything like this, when in reality that hasn't changed the truth values of them.

"An admin did something against the rules. Rules, therefore, do not apply to admins."

This one is jumping to a conclusion. Where's your support for rules not applying to admins? An admin can do something against the rules and yet the rules may still apply--in fact, it may have not yet been used to stop them from further breaking it yet.

Of course, this argument has a problem. Because, for all intents and purposes, the current rule is this: 1204701408 1204096608

As he has not said that statement is false or attacked it, he has not broken the rule. Therefore if he hasn't broken any rules, the argument is completely destroyed. There is only one rule and he has yet to break it, or even scrape it accidentally.

As for your question of Ailure and Blackhole,

1. Mentioning that again will cause drama,
2. You were there when it happened, why didn't you see the blatantly obvious drama around you,
3. It is not my responsibility to inform you of the blatantly obvious.

Additionally, you're making another fallacy.

"If you do not tell me what someone did, then your argument about what they will probably do is false."

This is an appeal to ignorance. Your ignorance does not override my argument. Therefore you again are making a fallacy.

In short, you fail at logic, entirely. I will be happy to point out each and every logical fallacy you make until you learn to speak logically or run away screaming. :p

How about we not delve too much into that? Discussion of the known bad vibes between certain members of these post-split boards isn't wise.

Normally, we try not to. This is something that's been brewing for a while, though, and was bound to come up sooner or later.

(...you are talking about NightKev, right?)

Eon: Then neither is telling me not to mention it, because in order to respond to that statement I must bring it up.

Therefore, if you wish for me not to delve into it, then you must neither mention that it causes bad vibes in the first place, for to have a logical discussion on it, I must, naturally, mention the various premises and conclusions relative to hot button issue X. (Where X is an issue you are mentioning that is a hot button issue.)

The same goes for Nightkev, if he wishes to also avoid it.

Myself, I do not care; I simply respond when I see Discrete Math homework material staring me in the face from a message board.

Drama keeps things alive that should be buried deep in a grave by now.

Wow... double meaning in this case.

Because:
a) some people like drama
b) some people feel the need to report every time the IRC server goes down for any length of time (what? the Internet is unstable?)

So drama is like that voice that says "WIIIISE FROM YOUR GWAAAAVE"?

That explains a lot.

Your naive assumption that people change within a month or two is hereby noted.
...What?

"An admin did something against the rules. Rules, therefore, do not apply to admins."

This one is jumping to a conclusion. Where's your support for rules not applying to admins? An admin can do something against the rules and yet the rules may still apply--in fact, it may have not yet been used to stop them from further breaking it yet.
Actually I was really referring more to Etna but I worded that post wrong and went against Xk instead, I apologize for the mistake there.

Umm...what?

As for your question of Ailure and Blackhole,

1. Mentioning that again will cause drama,
Isn't that what you did..? I was only following up on your post.

2. You were there when it happened, why didn't you see the blatantly obvious drama around you,
If you're referring to bh /kill'ing Tyty (which is what you must be referring to) I was not there when it happened.

3. It is not my responsibility to inform you of the blatantly obvious.
Where are you going here? If you're talking about your post about "stay away from bh networks" which was about something that happened almost a month prior to it and was probably only posted to stir up more hatred toward bh (if it wasn't then it was a spam post because I see no reason for it otherwise) then no it wasn't obvious that it was about something that happened a month ago because I didn't think anyone wanted to stir up more drama about the whole board2/jul split thing (something that happened a month ago and has been fully commented on does not need to be brought up again for no reason).

Additionally, you're making another fallacy.

"If you do not tell me what someone did, then your argument about what they will probably do is false."

This is an appeal to ignorance. Your ignorance does not override my argument. Therefore you again are making a fallacy.
Whose argument did I state was "false"?

No, it's just that your post was so long, boring, and hard to read I just skipped over it.

These measures are needed for people using non-graphical browsers.

For further advice on how to make your pages accessible
see http://www.w3.org/WAI/GL.
You are recommended to use CSS to specify the font and
properties such as its size and color. This will reduce
the size of HTML files and make them easier to maintain
compared with using <FONT> elements.

You are recommended to use CSS to control line wrapping.
Use "white-space: nowrap" to inhibit wrapping in place
of inserting <NOBR>...</NOBR> into the markup.
