There's a few things that I regret throwing away and/or giving away when I was longer. Most of the bulk were my old video games and systems (most of which I have gotten back)...but one item, one little toy, I've missed it so much since I was a kid. Yea, I know, rally silly, but its the only toy that I really miss and finally, tonight, I looked on Ebay and they have it!!

I'm not sure what happened to my original toy, but I think I lost it somewhere. So anyway, I bought the item with little haste.

Its this little toy, which was free back in 1988 with a happy meal from Mc D's.

My hubby was a bit puzzled as to why I would want to buy it after all these years and what I would do with it after getting it back, but I really couldn't come up with an answer that anyone could understand, save for, I really miss having it. Could be a psychological thing, I don't know, but I'm glad that I was able to find it.

About a year ago I traded in some old N64 games to get a couple DS games, then realized I actually liked playing some of the old games. Of course my N64 doesn't work all that well anyway and I can get the games on the VC (or emulate them) but it's nice having the actual carts just to, well, have them.

Usually I don't get rid of old things, I hate getting rid of anything.

I think I might have my stash of Hot Wheels around here...Or maybe we got rid of them.

I still remember when they had those car washes/etc. you could buy...Before the retarded DINOSAUR EATS CAR crap. Homemade courses were sooo much better. What boy wouldn't like to see a little car go flying 10+ feet and have it happen again?

Maybe I really did get rid of them... I'm suddenly starting to feel a little...sad.

Drag's Post #635
Computer garbage day came a few years ago (I guess old computers need to be discarded a different way for recycling), and I had the option of not having my old Monorail thrown away. I told them I don't need it anymore, so it got thrown away (I think). Two (or three?) years later (now), I'm kinda regretting not keeping it, because there's a lot of old internet and emulation stuffs (and the OPL midi music driver) on it that I kinda miss.

Anya: I have the same issue...

I seem to have lost my prized sonic launcher I got from some fast food restaurant. I used to love that thing. I could squeeze the dust behind Sonic, and he would zoom across the floor. I really miss it...

I once had an old Original Game Boy a few years back. The screen was messed up because my brother put it in a cooler with melted ice in it. I was sad, yet amazed that it still worked for playing games. I had to attach a certain screen on it to at least see what was happening on the game.

Later, during a garage sale, I decided to sell the Game Boy with two of my favorite games with it. I only got about $10 for it, and later I regretted selling it, even with the screwy screen.

I liked Tetris and Marble Madness .

Well, I can't remember any "toys" that I have lost, but I did use to have a Game Boy and a Game Boy Color. I've lost every game I've owned for them, but Mario Tennis and possibly Link's Awakening.
I miss those games... Especially my Pokemon games and Donkey Kong '94... And, most of all, Super Mario Land 2. D:

Mine was the frosty car from wendy's, only I still have it I would always zoom that thing across the floor at my grandma's house. It doesn't work quite as well as it used to though. One thing I lost though, or rather it just doesn't work anymore, is my original big ass gameboy. I have a super gameboy for the SNES that still plays all my gameboy games, but I want the original again dammit!

I had a small toy car my father gave me when I was little...and, I still have it. I guess you can say it was inconsiderate, because girls not "supposed" to play with cars and he might have just gave me it to get his kid a toy and not really put any thought in to it. But it marks in my mind one of the first times I remember him doing something nice and in my mind as a kid I was grateful not for what it was but because he cared enough to give me a gift at all. Maybe you would need to know the kind of relationship I had with my father to really understand, but...it kind of meant a lot. And now that he is passed on I treasure it as a way to remember the good things over the negative. It shows me that even he wasn't always so awful...you know? ._. Not sure what I would do if I ever lost it...

I am the kind of person who likes to hold on to things because I can find a meaning behind everything. Even things like a napkin or a wrapper. I try to make sure there are not little toys or other memories I might lose. I mean life only happens once..but then, I also have too many things xD

After my parents moved from our old home and into an apartment, they gave away almost all of my lego's to some kindergarten, and they probably threw away lots of stuff, too, since they wouldn't have that much storage space.

I don't know what happened to the NES, but it doesn't matter, it was broken anyway. I still have the games though, I made sure to check last time I was home.

Atleast they kept my computer, but they sold the screen.

How about 20+ Lego instruction manuals? Bad decision on my part...
I donated my SNES to my grandma's house, and I want it back, because it's sitting and collecting dust there

I still have mine. Some are in a tool box that is about, by my estimates, 30"x4"x6". There's more in another, much smaller box; they won't all fit in the big one. I don't have all of them, though; in the process of moving every year (give or take six months), I lost quite a few.

I sold my N64 a while back after not playing it for a month (that was, in fact, my reason). Got $75 for it and a few games selling it to my aunt. In recent years, I purchased one at Gamestop for $20, and have put at least $100 into getting new N64 games (check out my Backloggery; every N64 game on there is one I actually have)

I gave all of my SNES games to my friend Phillip. This is because my SNES stopped working properly; even tapping whatever it was sitting on would make it lock up. Phillip's looking to sell his SNES when he retrieves it from storage or something, so I'll probably wind up buying that and all the games from him.

Most of what I've lost over the years were friends rather than toys... which reminds me of the quilt my grandmother made me, that I lost. It was made for me when I was a young child, no older than five. When we moved out of Fort Valley, though, it strangely went missing. I know exactly where it is - my stepdad's brother took it and gave it to his kid. Normally, this would only bother me because he took something that wasn't his, but that blanket carried a lot of memories for me. I did have it for over ten years, and it was still in good shape too. =/

Other than that, there's not much I can remember losing. I'm pretty sure that's the fault of my memory, not me having not lost much... I don't know how common this is, but my family has an infuriating tendency to lose my things when we move. They don't lose their own, just mine.

I never got attached enough, I guess.

I wish I knew where my Ninja Turtles action figures were from the early 90s...
I should go digging in the basement and try to find it one day.

I had this little Goomba with a suction cup on its chin. You'd press it down so the cup sticks to its feet, and it would lose suction after a few seconds and do a backflip. I have no idea what happened to it.
