I think it is more of the "don't flush anything down the toilet but feces and urine" message which is probably why number three doesn't advocate vomiting. The toilets on those trains aren't exactly as high-tech as the ones you'll find in the home. Still a really whacky message though.

Yeah, vomiting is understandable for some public toilets.

There is a sign similar to that at the toilets of the geophysical institute at the university here, though it only has the first image from the first row, and the second image from the second row (with the guy crouching on top of the toilet.) I suppose it's intended on the foreign professors/students then.

Is it just me, or did that image remind anyone of Portal? I'm scared just thinking about glaDOS ALWAYS watching me, but now with the bathroom... erg... *shudder*

I had one (1) message in Discord deleted and proceeded to make a huge, huge mess about how it was a violation of free speech and how moderators are supposed to be spam janitors and nobody should have the right to tell me not to talk about school shootings

I get the idea a lot of Japanese warning signs/labels have a bit of humour put into them.

Problem with the no-vomiting one, though... when you're about to throw up you don't stop and look at the signs above the toilet before you do so.

What do you suggest... they put the sign -in- the toilet? But yeah, that's kinda pointless. And if they didn't want vomit, they'd also put "diarrhea = GTFO"
