It can't hurt to have it.

Furthermore, those normal users downplaying it, why would you think it'd be bad not to have it? It's not like it'll be your responsibility to take care of it more than the staff's. The only two grounds I can really think that are sensible for something like this are the wants and the neutrals...I don't see a negative side to this whatsoever.

I say go for it as a means of an information dump for now...just to say we have SOMETHING there Google-able so people can actually know we're out here. The rest of it can come with suggestions over time.

I'd say that our general focus on this forum tends to be a combination of gaming and programming. So maybe something like a gaming, rom hacking, gamedev, etc kind of thing would suit us just fine.

We could review games on the main page.

Suggested the idea of FAQ/review database to X.

He's neutral, as usual.

Also suggested payment of reviews/FAQs recieved by amount given (in tokens) and a sort of competitive edge like TOP CONTRIBUTORS in total sent or total data sent (in KB or somethin) and keeping track of each individual's progress in their profile.

Well, I was aware of that, actually. The weird thing is that your site, Rusted Logic, is on rustedmagick, whereas the front page of rustedlogic would be something that isn't Rusted Logic, which just kinda seemed a little awkward to me. Maybe we could set up some kind of redirect or something.

Either way, I'd think that whatever we end up putting on the front page, we could call it "Jul", like the forum. Like I said, the first thing we should do, before overcomplicating everything, is just simply review games. They could be new games, old games, obscure games, crap games, homebrew games, whatever.
