What did you eat last?

The doctor says I have low iron, possibly anemia given some of my symptoms. I went to go get a steak. Filet mignon with bacon around the side, of course. I don't eat much red meat, I may as well really enjoy it.

Filet Mignon

God it was delicious.

Rubbed extra virgin olive oil all over it first, and started up the frying pan with more extra virgin olive oil in it till it was hot as hell. Seared the meat for two minutes at extreme heat on each side, took it off the heat, put a crapload of butter on the top and then covered the pan in a foil tent.

Left that there for 20 minutes, slowly cooking off the remaining heat, while the oven preheated to about 400°F. Then put the whole pan in the oven for four minutes.

Took it out again, let it sit for a bit to reabsorb all the juices its in, and served it. OH GOD FUCKING OM NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM

It was perfect, absolutely fucking perfect. So tender, juicy, flavoursome, melt in your mouth wonderful. Medium-rare, and just bliss.

What are you eating / what did you eat last?

I had a last-minute sandwich. Ham, cheese.

If it wasn't for that, I would've gone though the day entirely on several cans of Mt. Dew.

We've been out of edible food (except for that kind of sandwich, suprise) for a few days. Unfortunately, we seem to be forgetting to actually go out and get more.

Yesterday I took a break from my regular afternoon hotdog for a Lunchables Turkey Cracker Stacker.

This morning I had an Entenmann's chocolate frosted donut. :3

As I type this, I am eating a chicken parmesan hero with mozzerella from my office building cafeteria, along with a can of Coke. Good shit.

Oh, lets see... fried pollock filets (square frozen things, but they're not to bad...) with spaghetti, fried and chopped onion, tomato and cucumber and a few dashes of sour cream on top. Didn't take a picture, because I didn't see this thread until now.. but I'll eat the same thing on Sunday, so I can just get one then.

Last night, it was hamburger helper but mixed in was the cheese with noodles, rice and cayenne. Really good but Gary thought only to nibble on it a little. Peach tea sugarless kicks ass too.

Today for lunch it was just a 20 oz. of Yoo-hoo! and a Frito pie. To give you an idea: it's ground beef, chili with beans, jalapeno slices, chopped onions, nacho cheese and Fritos. Pretty good, actually.

Pretty sparse this evening with just a salad.

It's a large one though, just simple lettuce, cherry tomatoes, sunflower kernels and Robusto Italian dressing.

One slice of a large pizza. The slices were supposed to be 1/8ths, but that one seemed a bit bigger.

Feeling sick, so I've not been eating much

I had bacon and eggs for breakfast.

The eggs were great. Cream and egg and butter. Cracked pepper and parmesan cooked in at the very last minute.

We had friends over for dinner so we had scalloped potatoes, lamb tenderloin, with carrots and mushrooms. For dessert there was chocolate mousse. Mmmmmmm. It was all very tasty.

I had some good food today .

For breakfast, I had burritos made with beans and chorizo and flour tortillas. It was nice, although I didn't eat the usual amount of burritos today .

For dinner, I had tacos from a local fast-food chain. I like their tacos, even though I didn't eat much .

For some odd reason, I didn't eat as much as I always do. It makes me worried .
