Might wanna reserves this game...now...just leaked:

You'll be kicking yourself for months if you don't rush over to Wal-Mart's online store right now to put in your Super Smash Bros Brawl preorder before someone at the giant retailer wises up and updates the listing. At $19.82, this is likely the lowest you'll see this game priced for the next couple of years, so you would be a fool to not immediately pounce on this. And you know how we feel about fools -- we have no pity for them. None!

WHAT!? SHIT! I just spent $50 pre-ordering it! GOD DAMMIT!! >:

The only good thing is that I paid then and I don't have to pay again... BUT WHAT THE HELL! HOW CAN THEY EVEN SELL IT FOR THAT LOW!? ARGHH!!!

Edit: Waaait... Is this just for the pre-order or for the entire game? Why would Galaxy be more expensive that Brawl?

My guess...is that 1 is suppose to be a 4. And its not a preorder amount...I just paid for mine..came out to be $22.98..but its getting a lot of attention, so they might try to back out on this little mistake and cancel everyone's orders. If thats the case, I might just get it at work. So either way, no loss if they back out on this...and if they don't...score!

Eh, I needed to preorder it any way.
I'm guessing it was a mistake, with the sudden change and the really cheap price.

I am not preordering. There has never been an instance I've needed to preorder anything here EXCEPT possibly a Wii, but I never did and ended up getting one months after release. Considering Halo 3 is more popular around here and there were still plenty on the shelves the first day it came out I think I am safe with just walking into a store and getting Brawl. After all, if its not in both Gamestops, there is a Wal-Mart, Play n Trade, Best Buy, K-Mart, and Target right in the same vicinity. Target is where I got my DS first day of release late at night so...

I bought Mario Galaxy on opening day no problem. It was at like 9 PM as well.
The only problem is the Walmart gets games quite later than the actual release. I was told that Mario Galaxy wouldn't be in for at least a week, and it was in stock in Toys'R'Us.

That's because Wal-Mart gets their truck in on Tuesdays, and assuming they did this with all new items, they wait until AFTER the initial release before they actually have it, unlike other stores that get their games beforehand.

Plus the employees are only following guidelines. If they are told not to get the game until a certain date then they follow. After all, they are just doing their job.

Again, let me stress the ONLY thing that required preorders was a Wii for me. Even then I didn't do that. Its not like its going to be hard to grab a game. A system is one thing.

Let me go ahead and explain it.
In retail, you (as in, employee) have to have a minimum and maximum order amount. For instance, you are required to have so many bags of potato chips out but at the same time you can't exceed a certain amount. When it comes to game systems, I'm assuming that they are only told to stock up on about 4-5 or so, as for the amount of space available and how much money they cost. Any more and its overstock, which is bad. However, with games, you are probably required to have at least 10 or so, varying by store, while at the same time not being able to order anymore over a certain limit. Plus you overstock, YOU are the one putting it out.

In other words, while they could order more, they don't because its their job to make sure they don't break the rules. I should know, I worked at Hobby Lobby and everytime I ordered someone went behind my back and plugged in more orders than I needed, therefore I had to put them out. Same with other chains I'm sure. While you may think "There are stockman to do it" they also can say someone is ordering too much and too little and that person could lose their jobs. After all, you have to work as a team.

It's interesting to see how you fight with Olimar, pulling out Pikmin and throwing them at your opponents. The Pikmin even have different properties depending on what color they are.

Bah, if it worked, it would've been a good deal for me. I have a Wii, but it's staying home when I go to school; even if I came back for the weekend it came out, it's being released Sunday, so I wouldn't be able to play more than an hour or two anyway if I could find it.

Therefore... Yeah. Getting it for 20 bucks a few days late (I could probably get my parents to pick it up) would've been a steal.

Also: Having Snake and Sonic be secret characters would be very disappointing. Then again, all the characters I played in Melee were secret characters, too...
