I never put batteries in my clock. When the power goes out, I set it again once it comes back on Although we don't exactly have rolling blackouts where I live, so I don't worry about it too much.

My clock thing can run on batteries. It's one you can put your iPod in and play stuff from your iPod to wake you up. What I'd like to do is get the music that is used for the March Past competition in Surf Lifesaving as an MP3 and put it on the iPod, then take my clock thing down with me when I train the Juniors. We still play a cassette, and it sounds very very bad, and there isn't a lot of volume on the cassette player.

At least an MP3 should be clearer and the clock is MUCH MUCH louder!

This actually has a proper iPod dock thing, and it can be used to control the iPod through the device. However because my iPod is very old, the functionality is limited.

I myself am also a profoundly deep sleeper...Though, I fall asleep whenever I feel like actually going to sleep which may take until, like 7 AM. Or, worse yet like this one time, 12 PM the next day. Oh, and don't get me started on this one time when I stayed up for TWO DAYS STRAIGHT. Man, that was weird. e_e ....I also had an alarm clock to help me with such things. But it crapped out, so I threw it away. :/

Longest I stayed up on purpose was one night at our arcade. Woke up early, went to a friend's, then headed to the arcade for an all night Pump It Up session (free play yeah) then at 9 in the morning I got home and slept all day.
