I've actually had a good set of neighbors in the last two. The most recent moved in a week or two ago but it's an old lady by herself and she works nights. For the most part, absolutely no noise.

Go back a few though and you have people that were next to me that didn't know that a drum set goes through six inches of soundproofing.

i live in a neighbourhood where there are a lot of kids playing and sometimes they set off fireworks. it's a bit of an annoyance, but not too bad.

although to be honest, what i really miss is people being `neighbourly'. no one here really seems to like running into each other and chatting, all my neighbours are strangers, save maybe one or two people.

I really had luck with my last and current neighbors.

The last ones where chill and quiet. And at the new place, Doctors offices, only slight foot traffic. I may spot a visitor once or twice a week in the stair case.
Also, they're out of office after 1800 and on weekends. So nobody do disturb. And I never heard anything from them.

One of my neighbors really likes fireworks. He only sets them off on special occasions, though, like when the Seahawks win.

Fireworks are illegal year-round within city limits, but it's a very short drive to areas where they're legal for part of the year.

my grandparents live in a neighborhood where fireworks cover the whole neighborhood in debris for a few weeks, and it's suffocating and disgusting every new years and 4th of july
