earlier today i was just making some pogchamps and toothy smiles and big ol soyfaces (for lack of a better term) in the mirror giggling my ass off and i thought, hm, i wonder if anyone else is as much of a 10 year old as i am in sense of humor

sometimes i try to avoid the mirrors

sometimes i look at them and try to look normal (if i'm about to go outside for any reason for example, gotta make sure i'm organized and stuff)

sometimes i'm bored and try to be dumb and end up laughing at myself

like the few times i tried to use a book as a hat

i used to have a real aversion to mirrors until i got myself into things like shaving to make myself look less like a corpse, while also getting a grip on in-person social anxiety in general

i still don't make many silly faces but every so often i'll give myself a deadpan stare and be like "bitch." and see how long i can avoid cracking a smile

the mirror's been bothering me lately. despite being on estrogen for a year and a half, my facial hair is growing the fastest it's ever grown in my life, as of these past couple months. i was so smooth and soft, and now i've got all this stubble...

so less silly faces in the mirror for me
