I guess I have a bunch, but they're always more concept characters for games I want to make.

like qt-pi, the helper robot pc for a pacifist platformer that I never finished

B, the creatively named bounty hunter, and Skelly, sort of like if batman was a mercenary and also a hot blonde. They were meant for a MM Zero styled game

A couple of death faries (instead of a guardian angel that prevents death, they ensure you die on time), one of which I used as a token gal in a picross game.

some tragic android and monster kids, originally slated as main characters in WaGa 2, that'll now probably be more guest/cameo style characters.

theres probably some other ones ive used over the years that i cant even remember.

Do they still prevent dying until it's time, or are they perfectly happy to let someone clock out early?

I took part in a pen and paper campaign set in the MLP setting so I made one for that. I actually got someone to draw her for me..., twice (by different people) somehow.

Her name was Sapphire Drip and she specialized in freezing things..., she was also kind of a crazy kleptomaniac (then again what P&P character isn't?) that really didn't care about anything other than what she currently fancied doing.

I think that's the only thing I have the I would qualify as an OC. I have like, a bunny design in the works for like, representing myself. But I sort of see that more as an extension of myself rather than an character? If that makes any sense. Also I don't like the terminology of fursona so I refuse to use that. I'd show what I have for the design, but really, I'm super bad at drawing so I kinda don't want to, one of my friends was working on a drawing based on my crude sketch, but I'm not sure when that will be finished..., she has a lot going on in her life that is keeping her busy.

Maple Post-o-Matic 9.1
An entire supraplanetary organization's worth. (todo: figure out how the fuck to distil the mælstrom of ideas in my head into wiki articles and forum posts aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa [also that needs to say Safir Alliance why am I so lazy])

More OOCly, I do have a fairly large stable of OCs as whom I roleplay, both Safirian and otherwise.

I invent a bunch, most of which don't see much use or thought. Some of them are for inevitably doomed game projects. Here's some descriptions of the three most active ones, although they're not all that fleshed out:

Pepijn - Brown/Yellow bat with various blue bits as well, and my "fursona" if you'd like to call it that. Currently the only really public-facing character I have. (largely because nobody knows about any other character) They seem to follow my personality pretty well, so I don't have much else to say about them.

Maghaelea - Light green mouse loosely themed around water lilies. She's small, has a fondness for astronomy (using her own telescope in particular) and gory media (mostly gory horror films, but hey, not fleshed out.) Otherwise she's very feminine in appearance/dress, maybe not as much in personality.

Brica - A tall, lanky {specific type of brown} dog with green and red accents. I haven't figured much out w.r.t. personality or anything for her, but I think she's a bit more masculine/androgynous.

Dunno how to describe their personalities atm. I might need examples. It's late.

I'll have to look, but I don't have much to choose from for art examples. I can think of one in colour for Maghaelea and for Pepijn there's always the (badly self-drawn) ref but mostly they all appear in sketches. When I started colouring some of my sketches is also when my art got a bit of a lewd streak. B/W stuff wouldn't look nice enough.

Might detail some others when I feel like it, but it's late now. (If I don't forget as well.)

Apparently I have several dozen that I've accumulated over the years. Even more if you count the ones from KvSG. I'm not very good at naming them, though.

They ensure they die on the day designated, in the way designated, starting from when they are assigned. They're mostly counter guardian angels.

Probably my favorite concept I came up with.

Like, a bunch of them. Largely aliens and other characters within a setting that I've built up for myself over the years, at that, along with general concepts I wanted to test out and ended up enjoying.

Most of them are also horribly inundated with my personal kinks because seriously, what would you do in the ideal fully automated luxury communism scenario.

Technically you could say my "feathersona" is an OC. Though it's really just a generic eurasian eagle-owl, the only deviation being the yellow beak - normally they have a black one. There's no personality or anything because it's literally me.

If you look in my past... historically... I have had a peculiar Pokémon character. An Absol named Backtick. Backtick was, notably, not me. Backtick had a personality. He basically took on some of my features at that time and... exaggerated them. Including the bad ones, such as seriousness and paranoia. Which wasn't an entirely productive way to engage in my fantasies, but somehow it worked.

Now... I am looking into creating a new character. Backtick is long retired and Sanqui the owl represents me completely. This complicates roleplay because I'm unwilling to do things I don't actually want to do myself, and unfortunately not many people are interested in the elementary kind of roleplay. A new character would allow me to engage in roleplay as well as explore myself a bit more. I'm now sure I want them to have a well defined personality that actually differs significantly from mine... Now the only problem is in the details. (And species. It was difficult enough to figure out I'm an owl.)

I know this entire post reads very poorly, but for some reason I can't express these things well right now. Hope you understood at least a little from this weird part of my brain.

uh oh welp

I have a drawn a bunch of OCs over the years. Pretty much all of them are unnamed since I'm terrible at giving names (other than short names I use in the filenames for scanned drawings :V), and there isn't much behind them, not even a consistent age, so this is more how I came up with them more than anything.

twins.png / girl.png / boy.png

The generic color-coded player characters.
These were among the first set of characters drawn (around March 2012). The girl (red) came first, then the boy (blue) shortly followed.
They more or less fit the role of curious innocent children going on an Adventure™ nobody ever asked.
Originally they were drawn in a pseudo-Bubble Bobble art style (modeled after the drawing of Super Drunk), and the way I currently draw them still slightly reflects that. But I never could get the "head is 1/2 of the body part" look good :V
Anyway, the "self-caricature" of myself in 2012 merged in with the boy some time later (they looked almost mostly identical anyway, so there's that).

They are somewhat common doodle-friendly characters (which I tend to cut out from the page scans).
boss.png (no picture)

The original "bad guy", drawn shortly after the previous characters I mentioned.
He was originally an Eggman equivalent, and the early art showed that. Eventually that idea moved more towards "questionably malicious but friendly guy who isn't considered malicious until shit happens".
One of the original concepts was also of him being some sort of robot, an idea which eventually was shot down.
leaf.png (1) (2)

There's really nothing to say about this.
It was me experimenting with the idea of someone having leaves for wings, and now it happens that the upcoming mood avatar will probably feature her. And I can't seem to decide if I want to portray her as a boy or girl. Oy well.
mbunny.png (1) (2)

The lewd slime bunny.
More or less an almost invincible shapeshifting dick who messes with people for the lolz.

How I came up with this is one hell of a story:
At some point in time in 2016, while browsing through drawthreads in /b/, I came across someone going by the alias "pin" or "pinchan", of which I liked her cute lil doodles and art style. Eventually, (I don't remember if she linked it in one of her posts or I found it on my own) I found her tumblr account where she uploads art and sometimes her drawthread doodles.

One distinguishing feature (other than the way she draws faces, which somewhat impacted the way I draw some facial expressions) is that she draws most of her pin doodles in a pink or using pink shading. See, back then I tended to avoid using the pink/magenta hues since I had an hard time finding an use for them which actually looked good, and yet I found that maybe there was a way to make it work. I started experimenting with those pink hues (starting with a drawing of pin's OC by memory as a test, which went about as off-model as you'd expect).
In any case, the "slime" part comes from the pink/magenta/violet shading reminding me of slime. Yeah, really. Since that made enough sense and it was a good enough reason to *not* use the peach pink I would normally use on the skin, I went with it.

The bunny part is also inspired by pin's OC, but it's a more generic/straightforward take on the bunnygirl thingy. Oh, and there's no real reason why I draw both sets of ears (both human and bunny ears); it's just a common quirk of how I draw characters with animal ears.

Finally, since you don't really need to draw clothes for a slime girl (and me being l a z y on drawing clothes), that's the character which started to progressively being used more as an avatar.

So yeah, that's the insane story.

There are more but those are the main ones.

Depends if you still have access to the Story Forum or not.

If you don't, they never died. In fact, they're still getting writes. And a fuckton more characters were spawned since then. Like holy shit.

The alt attribute should be used to give a short description
of an image; longer descriptions should be given with the
longdesc attribute which takes a URL linked to the description.
These measures are needed for people using non-graphical browsers.

For further advice on how to make your pages accessible
see http://www.w3.org/WAI/GL.
You are recommended to use CSS to specify the font and
properties such as its size and color. This will reduce
the size of HTML files and make them easier to maintain
compared with using <FONT> elements.

You are recommended to use CSS to control line wrapping.
Use "white-space: nowrap" to inhibit wrapping in place
of inserting <NOBR>...</NOBR> into the markup.
