I was reading an article from the Facebook page Graveyard Shift a while back, and the article was talking about stories that went down in the deep web. So I looked into how to get down there, and I bumped into a site that has the OS Tails.

I saw a YT video on how to install Tails into a USB stick, did that and fired up Tor.

The site that intrigued me the most was The Hidden Wiki, lot'sa stuff on that page that I was like WOW this really exists? I even went into an anonymous chat room where I was talking to a hacker that coulda find my dick head brother's address by hacking his phone through his phone number for $50, he wanted the money in bitcoin but I don't know how that works.

So far I made about five deep web email addresses, I'm gonna look into their free web hosting onion sites. I'm gonna go there tomorrow and I'll take pics from my phone to show some onion sites if anything. Has anybody here ever went to the deep web? And if you have, what did you experience down there?

I have yet to go into the Dark Web...

Not to be a pedant or anything (oh wait I totally am, oops.), but technically you were already on the Dark Web by just being on the Onion hidden service network. The 'Deep Web' is literally just anything that's hidden from search engines, such as unlisted YouTube videos or pages that block Googlebots via robots.txt.

I just want to point out that the "hacker" you met was almost certainly a scammer. No rules means no rules, and people will gladly lie to milk some dough out of you.

Don't get too enchanted with it. Besides shady illegal stuff and scammers there's no real reason to go on it. It's neat and cool and it feels forbidden but it's also a loaded shotgun pointed at your foot. Be careful, if you do continue.

Well, actually, on this line.

A lot of people would probably not mind parting with $50 but allowing your personal details onto a someone, who identifies themself as hacker on the internet does not sound right.

Anyway, it looks like the OP is smart enough and this is detail they *just* happened to post about their dark web adventures.

I mean, if all the Deep Web you ultimately use it for is to more easily access academic papers and such, as long as it's not that illegal, then that's all I can advocate it for using. Proceed with caution.
