α′ I've just been going through our kitchen, both trying to sort food items into reasonable places because it was getting horribly disorganized and writing down roughly how much we have of what. It's partly because I know there's a bunch of stuff that's been lingering that never got folded into any meal plans, like the boxes of Golden Curry mix, and a bunch of now semi-ancient frozen meat which I think is probably still safe to use.

How often do y'all do stuff like this? What else is in y'all's spring cleaning lists, for those who do that? I'm hoping to do a full pass over the house over the course of the next lunation, even though it's pretty late for “spring”. Better late than never…

I try to follow some of the flylady.net stuff a bit, which has you semi-regularly tossing out shit in your fridge. I have also begun labeling things in the freezer (just write it on a strip of masking tape and whack that on the package) so I can toss out things that are past their prime.

Pantry had been a while, because baby, and some things in there were hilarious. Also, I appear to be hoarding sweet Hungarian paprika????
