| There was an episode in one of the old super hero cartoons I watched in the early 1980s. I think it might have been Spiderman and His Amazing Friends, or possibly Superfriends, but I really don't know which cartoon it was, but I do remember it was late 70's/early 80's vintage. The episode I am looking for involved some sort of weird universe that was directly adjacent, physically to ours. This 'universe' was a literal mirror of everything going on in our universe, except it was presented with all of the colors being inverted, such as black stars on white space. If anything tried to cross the boundry into that universe, it would end up crashing into it's double that was doing the exact same thing and both the original and double would annihalate each other. Indeed it happened, as there was a scene that showed both universes side by side, with a sharp dividing line straight down the middle of the screen, so you had the half 'n half view, and it showed a spacecraft racing tward the boundry and crashing into it's double which was doing the exact same thing. It was 35+ years scince I saw this, and the scene was so bizzare and shocking for me at the time, it stuck with me all of these years. If this ringsd a bell with anybody, please post the answer here. |
