Was indeed the case on my own derpboards at the time.

I was more or less half my age mentally when I was 12.

I look back at 2014-15 and wonder how the bloody hell I was such an idiot, and then even now, I still show signs of that idiocy to be honest...

... and as for phpBB, it's permissions are pretty awful, but other than that it's rather usable...

I use SMF and MediaWiki for one of my worldbuidling projects, and absolutely hate administrating the latter. Unfortunately I can't find a good replacement that will actually install on a $5 DigitalOcean droplet.
