Came with a couple games, and the displays were soldered down so I won't have to worry about those coming unglued in their due time. It's quite a neat piece of hardware with some fun games, and I've yet to have a single case of headaches or eye strain :p
The point is more that it's new to
you.

This here is a
Famicom Data Recorder. It's basically a glorified Nintendo-branded portable tape deck. I haven't gotten a chance to test it yet, because, uh, who still has audio tapes around still?
Well, that and a Family Basic Keyboard, which you also need to actually use this for saving data in the, uh. Four or so games that support it — Family Basic itself, Excitebike, Castle Excellent, and I think there was another one or something, but I can't remember it.
I also got an FDS that was "tested and working". Unsurprisingly it was not! It is in pretty good shape, but the drive belt, the thing that actually makes it read disks, was, uh. Well it certainly wasn't a belt any more, more like some weird black sludge. At least replacements for that are $5 × 10 on ebay... and in the process BMF got his FDS fully working again, instead of refusing to read disks most of the time.
