A little more daily, but still not quite... Anyway.

I live in Las Vegas (well, Henderson), but I'd much rather live somewhere like Seattle or a similar place climate-wise. I don't like the dry and way, way too hot summers here, and there's just nothing to do. Seattle seems a lot more open and friendly, not to mention the $15 minimum wage

I’m generally happy with Adelaide, and even my suburb, except… I wish there were some cafes and restaurants nearby that were any good. ESPECIALLY stuff I could walk to. There’s just nothing around here.

I miss living in Norwood. There were a lot of good things to walk to there.

i really want to move to a big city in China. i’m thinking Shenzhen, Guangzhou or Hong Kong, since that’s the region my family’s from. somewhere high up, like 7th floor at least where i can see the streets + all the apartments & curl up w/ an e-Reader by the window when it rains.

Seattle’s pretty good btw, i live there & recommend it to everyone who wants to move here.

I wonder if the "there's nothing to do here" is just because, living there, you know most of everything to do and there's nothing new and exciting?

Everyone always seems to have that same complaint, but at the same time I can't really believe what I just said above, as the amount of things to do here really is tiny. (But it implies that most places are just abhorrently boring by nature, which seems wrong, too?)

how's the humidity? i was there for PAX a few months ago and it seemed fine, but i'm not sure how it is during the rest of the year

seattle has some cool places to walk around in/hang out at (i'd like to see pike place with fewer people) and there's a restaurant (tanakasan) that serves sake slushes which is 👌

I want to go live in Sydney or some place in South Africa because they seem like alright places to live in, or Tokyo if I can muster up the courage to speak some Japanese

I actually kinda like it here in Sweden around where I live, I just wish I lived in like, a proper house in like, a smaller village out on the country side (but not too far from a bigger city). That would be rather ideal... <-<

it’s great, actually. i have a lot of skin issues that get especially bad in the winter, so the humidity in the winter helps a lot. the past few years have been drier than usual, but hopefully this doesn’t continue.

it gets dry in the summer though since it’s the West Coast after all. in August it’s not unusual for it to not rain the entire month & for there to be yellow grass everywhere. it usually doesn’t get too hot, which is nice. this past summer was a scorcher, though.

I think that’s some of it for me, when it comes to Adelaide as a whole anyway. But this particular area is also mostly houses, houses, and more houses. Then a big fat mall. It could do with some variety. Perhaps I also just have problems discovering new things.

Depends on other factors, such as my occupation (studies or job or remote/freelancing), as well as the people I'm living in. One dream right now is a wooden cottage somewhere in nature but not too far from a city, with a little homesteading going on, too, but that's expecting a partner and a solid remote job. And I'm not sure I would last with it for a longer time.

If I could afford to, I would absolutely love to live in a city. Any fairly decent city that's not known for being rough.

Growing up isolated in a small town, when I went to Boston for the first time in 2002, it really left a mark on me. From then on, I'd dreamed of living in the city. I know it's far more expensive to do so, but it's just that right now, a nice little dream.

I'm not sure of where else I would want to live. I'd say somewhere safer than here, and probably somewhere that has more free space around so I can walk around a bit more, and overall a quieter and calmer place. However, I do currently have easy access to the city and metropolitan centers thanks to the "decent enough" public transportation system here, so if I did move to another place, that is not something I'd want to lose.

I kind of want to move to Guangzhou. I really liked it when I visited, and the food was great. But instead, the years keep passing really quickly and I'm still here in Virginia...

I actually really like where I live here in Jersey. There's lots of parks, great pizza and bagel shops, and it's close enough to New York City that a day trip there is no problem.

I'm fine in this town and don't want to leave, I just want to get away from the shitbag neighbors and their habit of locking their dog in a hamster cage whenever they go out.
