Is insinuating that I'm high constantly getting on peoples' nerves yet? Like, realtalk over here, because I am curious as to whether or not I should put a clamp on it.

I mean, we're heading towards a live-and-let-live societal approach to weed, though some locations are farther ahead of this than others. Like, I heard it's completely illegal in Sweden, for instance; Here in California, it'll be 100% legal state-wise beginning next year. It's currently decriminalized, but you'd still need a weed card to legally buy.

I mean if anything I've been growing bored of weed and haven't been smoking as much (Protip: RIP throat, tolerance is a bitch, especially to women somehow), but I'd still want to know how annoying it is hearing about it from an outsider's perspective.

And, well, there an annoying habit of mine right there. In the post. Not being able to shut up about something.

Sweden's drug politics are complete garbage, and anyone who suggests that there are better ways get shunned. Like, we still treat weed the same as any other drugs, despite the effect being weaker or on the same level as alcohol. Anyone who does any drug is more likely to be thrown into jail than re-rehabilitation. We also lack a complete understanding of that the reality is such: it's better to help people who are using drugs by the state than forcing those that do have a harmful addiction to keep going to illegal dealers. There's plenty of studies and evidence that our way of handling drugs in Sweden is completely in opposition in getting people to use less drugs.

And I don't even want or have taken drugs myself, I'm just completely baffled at the state our politics have on the matter.

Get a vaporiser and save your throat. The Pax is nice. I'm jelly of your high. I also talk about that shit too much in private channels, but I try to keep a lid on it in public forums because employers and shit look all your social stuff up…

My friends are hinting that my whining about not being able to drink or get high is annoying… but on the flip side I get annoyed that they go on about it so much when I can't…

tbh it's fine, Jul doesn't seem to be a very weed-using bunch afaik so maybe it's good for people to be exposed to things like that. my two cents.

I tried Acey's vape once; something about it felt mechanical and off. I could try again but she also vapes nicotine and that's just not something I want to do even on accident. Whuddya know, I'm pro-weed but so anti-nicotine that I occasionally have made passive disapprovals of... 

And I live in one of the most liberal areas in California/US: good ol' Santa Cruz. Hell, in the time leading up to Prop 64 last November the county was actually encouraging growers in the area to make themselves known so they could be helped made legal.

As far as work knows they know nothing, but if they do, considering my work ethic, attention to detail, and the area's especially lax views, if I do get caught I feel like not all will be lost. May have to give it up, which ngl my wallet will love me for it, but if I learned anything about my grandpa from Mom, keep such a great standing at work and they won't want to fire you. (He actually lost a leg from unrelated circumstances and was often sick from work, probably because of that. And that's pre-ADA passing).

Plus I'm thinking of taking a nice, longish break from the stuff anyway. As they say in drug culture less is more, and my tolerance could use the break.

Yeah, they are expensive. I had an original one (it died mysteriously after a few years) though and my throat stopped being a problem, I had less of a mild persistent cough, and generally my health improved. Plus they are so portable and discreet. Also easy to clean. If/when I can enjoy the stuff again, I'll buy myself a current model for sure!

Very oftenly. I sort of blame myself for putting a lot of ideas of projects I could do and things on the internet to see, so quite a few times even after a day of sorting everything it still feels like there's so much else to do and it feels like I just spent a lot of time on nothing, even though I was busy the entire time.

This feeling sucks.
