I find it sad that on what is supposed to be the happiest time of the year, people decide to go bonkers and annoy one another.

Of course, it seems that way with my family too, so I guess it can't be escaped!!

Erm... we don't have the latter but I could gladly give you a few types of shortbread that we have. Homemade and cookie-style with big chocolate centers.
