My new forum software has been officially made public and you can get it here. It's called Moline (named after Moline Illinois) and is based off of ABXD. This can even run on free hosts and with Xampp so if you want to test this, you can do so freely (http://netor.ga is a good free host) but while uploading this to mediafire, something happened that caused Register_Globals to go extinct for everyone which may or may not cause problems for some people (Apparently Mediafire is the database for everything php related having bought it from w3wchools at some point)

EDIT: It's now on GitHub meaning you can easily contribute to it's development. Read the todo list for a list of suggestions if you're stuck on what to add.

Not trying to be rude here, but why should anyone trust you with forum backend development?

Like, if anyone wants to run a forum board but don't actually know much in the how when it comes to development you always have to put your trust in that the stuff you run is not malicious in any way. Ergo, you have to put trust in the people who develop it.

To be fair, from my understanding, many of the popular and "go-to, highly recommended" forum software are/were riddled with serious security holes.

Just saying.

You make a good point, but it applies to anyone, including large organizations. Your question/comment comes off as being directed exclusively at pokemonmaster, or any random individual, and not ANYBODY who tries their hand at writing one of these. Not trying to be rude, either, but I felt that needed to be nit-picked, sorry. What you said still holds weight, and I agree.

I changed sites and put this up at GitHub now meaning anyone can contribute to its development if they want. I'll be making a todo list for people to use if they get ideas block (as in they can't think of anything to add) You can download the software from here. My original post has been updated with the new link as well. And since this is ABXD based, development on this should be easy.

Nothing really. I did add in some new themes such as music themes, an Acmlm's rom hack inspired theme and many more plus all the plugins are included (and it includes a broken about us plugin) So all in all, nothing is majorily changed right now but that will change. Also, the todo list is up (The file is called Todo)
