A couple days ago I noticed that there was a yellow warning sign next to the URL indicating an SSL connection issue. A couple days passed and the error persisted therefore I knew I had to share it. The exact error message says the folllowing:
Connection is Not Secure
You connection is not private and information you share with the site could be viewed by others.

Parts of this page are not secure (such as images). Learn more.

Basically the connection between X user and the site is not encrypted. This includes info which X users is reading which isn't not much to sweat about but it also includes info sent to the site such as passwords.

Am I the only one receiving the error? Is it an error on my side or are other users seeing a yellow sign to the left of the URL?

No problems here too.

Does it happen to the entire website or just one page? If it's only one page, it could be that one of a page's elements isn't using HTTPS.

It's the entire website. I'm not sure why this is happening.

please provide screenshots, including what (if anything) it is pointing out as insecure

including information of what you have will also help, e.g. scripts disabled or enabled, etc

psychic debugging: you probably had some form of noscript installed (or related issue; js off) and the project wonderful failover tag uses http://, not https://

You are a smart one! You sleuthed it: I use a script disabler for security purposes. Obviously the wiki is NOT malicious (with a quick code audit I can confirm this), but it's always a good habit to disable scripts for security purposes.

In any case, the error has been fixed. Thank you.

For what it's worth, one of your posts inadvertently helped me figure out how to inspect what media is unencrypted. For firefox go to the page info and view which media is going over HTTPS or not.
