What the title says. What are you guys into?



For me, well:

* Jul (duh)
* Kafuka

* Kuribo64: NSMB2 hacking crap (was originally about SMG2.5 but that died), it's also my board
* NSMBHD: NSMBDS hacking, not really into it anymore though, I mostly do admin work
* RVLution: NSMBW hacking, but same as above

* 4dsdev: a small board for 3DS homebrew that doesn't go far
* GBAtemp: sometimes good for showing off hacking/homebrew related projects

* a French forum for the Fort Boyard TV show


there are several other forums I have joined for whatever reasons but I didn't stay active there

    My approval attempt from way back in 2012 was laughable. I still have the text file of it somewhere, and oh boy.

    Honestly though, the reason I'm not finishing the new one is that the more time goes on, the more I feel like I wouldn't have anything to contribute there.

    Because I like to stick my nose everywhere I have a presence in a whole bunch of communities...

    There's Jul, which is like a home to me. I love you people.

    In close proximity on BadnikNET, I'm a part of the Telefang community - the board is called Tulunk Village.

    On Badnik, I also hang out in #tcrf, #furry, #tpp, and #pokemon.

    Next, there's veekun.com. The site doesn't get much activity, but the IRC channel #veekun is a pretty neat nexus of people orbiting around Eevee.

    There's pret, which is the group working on the pokémon disassemblies; there's Archive Team, which is pretty cool; there's #gbdev #politics (not recommended), there's Rainwave which is is a cool videogame music radio I sometimes request music on. There's tilde.town. There's Hidden Palace + #protos? Also, Pokémon Speedruns.

    And finally, I take good part in the czech pokémon community.

    /r/ftlgame - Basically the subreddit for FTL: Faster Than Light. I really dig the game so I generally browse and reply there. I do stay away from most of reddit though since most of it is garbage, but there are a couple of cool sub-communities.

    I'm the current Admin of the swedish brony community on facebook, which was basically the de facto place for swedish bronies since it's start and up until like a year ago. Since the fandom is kind of on the decline and many of the people who got into it early aren't as interested anymore the community has kind of died of. Which is kind of telling when the old admin handed the reins over to a known shitposter. :p

    I'm part of the Hey Arnold community (we have a small forum called The Sunset Arms), other than that I've been sort of in and out of places. I used to be a goon but I've all but stopped going to SA because it's kinda crap now.

    I also hang around the VGMrips channel on IRC as well as Mizuumi (fighting game community, kind of) and occasionally lurk the SDA chat even though I don't really speedrun anything.

    Oh I remember that board. They got to the point where they could make an OBJ2BDL converter. I used that tool to restore some of the rooms used in the first Wind Waker trailer.

    I guess I'm not really active on any board anymore, although I'm still reading a couple:

    - Jul (well, obviously)
    - The GCN (formerly home of "Ura Zelda" and Zelda 64 hacking in general, now mostly on life support)
    - GBAtemp (mostly for 3DS homebrew and hacking stuff)
    - ASSEMblergames (general gaming, prototype and dev stuff)

    ...and I'm not actually registered at but at least reading a couple more (ex. a big, German Amiga board, and byuu's board for higan/SNES in general), because I'm already inactive in enough other places

    Oh, and communities in general, I guess I am still contributing to TCRF, so that's something.

    I normally hang around Kuribo64 (which StapleButter had listed) and my own board, RHCafe, for NSMBU hacking.

    I also hang around TCRF and make edits to some pages (mostly NSMBU though)

    I don't hang around GBADerp as often anymore, because that board is....well, we all know
    I chill around in IRCs though.

    Well, outside of the obvious, my common communities are:

    Wars World News - It's the Advance Wars fansite I run. It is a thing.
    GameFAQs - I've somehow ended up in a handful of private board communities. I don't care much about the place in general any more but I am still there through inertia somehow.
    Romhacking.net - I rarely post on the forums but I live in the IRC. Still am a person who does stuff there.
    MetConst - I lurk a fair bit, only occasionally posting, but still a thing.
    /r/Advance_Wars - It makes sense, really.
    rpg.net - I post on the forums a fair bit, usually just keeping tabs on RPG stuff.
    Onyx Path Productions - They're the devs for the 2nd edition New World of Darkness RPGs, which I enjoy a bit. Taking a break because I can't deal with some personalities there, but otherwise I'm fairly regular.

    This is really the only place I'm 'active' at, there's quite a few sites I'll go to for info, tools, rom hacks etc but I'm way too lazy to join their communities. I hear some of them are even less active than it is here sometimes.
