Hi, I'm new here, and I found your Wiki to be fascinating. I like Debug menus and whatnot, but more specifically I've always been interested in the Guilty Gear Series.

From sound-tests and unused data from Guilty Gear X to the little easter egg Alien in Millia's stage to stuff from Guilty Gear 2 Overture and Guilty Gear Xrd: Sign, I've seen a lot over the years.

What I'd like to do is talk/discuss gleaning the goodies out of these games and learning more about what makes them tick.

I've seen plenty of sprite rips on Mugen websites, but nobody ever actually "talks" about the meat and potatoes of these games.

In particular though, I am interested in possibly ripping data from Guilty Gear 2: Overture (I don't have the game, but I figure someone should be able to take it apart).

Also, just something to mention but in the GGXrd article, it mentions the Black and Gold Colors were unused, these were originally called "Darkside" characters in Guilty Gear X. In Survival Mode after reaching Level 100 or so, the announcer would call out "Darkside!" every time you leveled up beyond level 100, and all you faced were Black Characters and Gold Characters every 10 levels or so.

Oh yes, and another thing to mention, Elphelt's "Darkside" color (with white veil) is based on her final form model in Story Mode.

By the way in case you're wondering, I'm the guy who runs Gear-Project.tumblr, so I'm interested in all things related to Guilty Gear, so if you don't mind talking about possible projects or just stuff about unused content in the games, I'm up for that too.

There's lots of hidden stuff that hasn't been uncovered yet, including Guilty Gear X 1.5 for Atomiswave!

That's because even with such a big sucess, Guilty Gear is pretty niche.

I'll be honest and say that I've never played a Guilty Gear game, let alone look inside of one thoroughly. That's the big reason why I don't touch Guilty Gear games. The other being that I'm generally not familiar with a lot of the newer console games. I'm somewhat more of a computer gamer honestly.

I care a lot! I totally forgot about checking on Xrd's stuff so thanks! Sadly I don't have the skills to check for unused stuff so I didn't bother to post here at all before.

If you have any site with more info about unused stuff across the series please post it here. Tcrf hardly has any info about GG in general.

I don't exactly have a website, but I can post a list of all the stuff I remember:

Guilty Gear: The Missing Link (PlayStation)
---Had a hidden Alien in Millia Rage's stage.
---If you played the disc like a music CD it had the hidden track "Meths".
---Several "bonus tracks" were in the game's Music Test, including a remix of the track "Suspicious Cook".
---Voice Samples could be ripped from a program called PSound.

Guilty Gear X: By Your Side G.Gear (PlayStation 2 / Dreamcast / NAOMI Arcade)
---If you played certain versions of the Dreamcast Disc it had a Desktop Theme you could install, and certain songs you could play.
---PS2 version featured redone audio tracks from the "Heavy Rock Tracks" album.
---Hidden Alien in Millia Rage's "Russia" Stage.
---Sound Test featured several "unused" voices that were modified (Robo-Ky was a hidden character and used Ky's unused samples).
---Gold and Black color palletes could be selectable, but didn't have the Gold powers the Survival Mode versions had.
---Tag Team Mode was featured in the "Guilty Gear X Advance Edition" for GBA and had special team quotes.
---Advance Edition featured an "EX Ky Kiske" with GG1 based movelist.

Guilty Gear Petit "Puchi" 1 + 2 (Wonderswan Color)
---New Character "Fanny" had a Story Mode.
---Story Mode in this game actually "predates" the Story Mode found in Guilty Gear X Plus.
---"Classic Millia" was playable as an alternate form of Millia Rage.
---??? Mostly Unknown/Untranslated.

Guilty Gear X Plus / 1.5 (PlayStation 2 / Atomiswave)
---Added Kliff and Justice (old sprite versions that were later redrawn for GGXX), Kliff had "slow" voice samples, and Justice had no voice samples at all.
---Alternate Character Select Screen / New Boss Intros for Testament and Dizzy (GGX 1.5)
---EX Mode (also alternate fighting styles that transitioned in to GGXX)
---Gold/Darkside (black) colors now had special effects added (retained in GGXX)
---Text-based Story Mode

Guilty Gear XX: The Midnight Carnival (NAOMI Arcade / PlayStation 2)
---Kliff and Justice sprites were redrawn.
---Full Audio Story Mode with Text.
---Robo-Ky with "Green Skin" and eye laser.
---Hidden Alien in Millia Rage's "Russia" Stage.
---Tons of unused audio in Sound Test.
---Gold/Darkside/EX Modes

Guilty Gear XX "Red #Reload"
---Not many changes, except Robo-Ky was revised.

Guilty Gear XX "Blue #Reload"
---Rebalance across the roster and the basic standard for #Reload.

Guilty Gear XX #Reload (Korean version)
---Alternate Voicework and Tracks for all characters, also a new stage exclusive to Korean #R was added.

Guilty Gear Isuka (Atomiswave / PlayStation 2)
---Characters were based on #Reload, except for A.B.A. who was new to the series.
---Characters Had "Lane Attack", "Back Attack", and "Lane Jump" sprites.
---Color Pallete Editor (glitches on ABA for some reason)
---EX Mode
---Robo Ky Mk.2 Factory (with unlockables in its own version of Boost Mode)
---Boost Mode (unlocking certain aspects of the stages unlocked Awakened Sol and Ky, this mode's bosses)
---Hidden tracks for the various modes could be ripped via a PS2 audio ripper.
---Hidden Zako ABC "thugs" and Leopaldon boss were also unlockable.

Guilty Gear Dust Strikers (Nintendo DS)
---Characters had a "Dust Strike" sprite animation for either knocking down or kicking up characters.
---Super Boss "Gig" was an opponent with its own music theme.
---Mini games were added for the stylus.

Guilty Gear Judgement / Guilty Gear "Club" (PlayStation Portable)
---Had a Survival Mode and hidden character Judgement could be unlocked.
---Main story unlocked stories for other various characters.
---Club portable version featured a cellphone pocket version of "Missing Link" as well as a mode that let you edit stats of various monsters and have them fight in a pseudo-boost mode.

Guilty Gear XX Slash (NAOMI 2 Arcade / PlayStation 2 "Japan Only")
---Order Sol is playable and had several unused quotes in Sound Test.
---Arcade version had special unused quotes versus I-No which carried over in to Accent Core, but was censored for the console version.
---Hidden Alien in Millia Rage's "Russia" stage.
---Unused Quotes in Sound Test
---Testament and Dizzy had special quotes versus Justice.

Guilty Gear XX Accent Core (NAOMI 2 Arcade / PlayStation 2)
---Japanese PS2 version was full of glitches.
---Order Sol and A.B.A. were revised.
---Justice and Kliff were no longer playable and cut from the game.
---Hidden Alien in Millia Rage's "England" stage.
---Unused Quotes in Sound Test
---EX Mode was revised since Slash, also features Gold/Darkside colors with effects.

Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus / Append (PlayStation 2)
---Fixed glitches from early version
---Append Disc had a special cover (and maybe extra content?).
---Justice and Kliff were revised / added.
---Hidden Alien in Millia Rage's "England" stage.
---Old #Reload stages were unlockable. (Dizzy's old intro in Grove stage was an easter egg)
---EX Mode revised, Gold / Darkside modes also revised.
---Story Mode Added.
---Extra Menu with game system changing options added.
---Survival Mode Revised / Mission Mode Revised.

Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R (PlayStation 3 / Sega RingEdge 2 / Steam)

---Mission Mode with unique items.
---Campaign Mode unlocked Ky Kiske.
---Raven was a bonus DLC along with an alternate outfit for Sol and bonus Stage (Sacred Order's Fortress)
---English Dub.

Guilty Gear VastEdge XT (Pachislot / iOS)
---??? (Mostly unknown)
---Concept Artwork was leaked as early as 2011 from the Pachislot version.

Guilty Gear Xrd: Sign (PlayStation 3+4 / Sega Ring Edge 2 / Steam)
---Unused Gold/Darkside Colors (Elphelt's "Darkside" color was actually her Final form in Story Mode).
---Prototype filler artwork used for Leo Whitefang DLC in early version of the game.
---New Characters: Bedman, Sin Kiske *Returning*, Ramlethal Valentine, Elphelt Valentine, Leo Whitefang
---Revised M.O.M. Mode (based on Mission Mode from GG2 and Survival Mode from earlier games)
---Ramlethal and Zato had "boss modes" in various arcade stories similar to a Gold Mode.
---Millia Rage's stage Dragonica Falls "might" have an Alien in it.
---Soundtest was replaced by Gallery Samples of promotional materials from the Arcade Webpage.
---DLC featured alternate System Announcers of the cast.
---English Dub.

Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator (PlayStation 3+4 / Sega Ring Edge 2 / Steam)
