| That's a nice feature you added to the status bar there. It'll be helpful to keep track of overall progress as well as individual level progress. Nice idea. Just one question, why are there three dashes after each label? Did you need all three to fill up the space? It just looks a bit awkward with three dashes, do you think you can fit everything in properly with just one dash? Regardless, good work. |

Yeah, it's a bit ugly, but it's neat that you managed to implement it. Exits seem like something to put on the overworld status next to your lives, or a pause menu, though.

| May I ask what excatly you mean by new polygon + new texture means. Did you create /modify a polygon, paste that Nintedo Rocks texture on it then place it in the sky like that? Or totally something different? Regardless...Mariokart 64 hacking.. Freaking Sweet! |

Yes, I added (not replaced or moved!) a polygon and a texture. That's actually a single rectangle across the track, with transparency on so it looks more like a message floating in the sky.
This image might help demonstrate the effect: ![]() That's the polygon in question viewed as a wireframe with transparency off. You can do some pretty neat things like that with transparent textures, the only downside is if your polygon is solid, the transparent areas will be solid too. I might just hack up a quick app for editing/adding textures and polygons so you can all write messages in the sky. As for the actual editor, I'll probably start on a basic version soon, but the final (and most of my other apps ) is going to have to wait for this to be resolved.____________________ |

| @S.N.N. Interesting new intro, I've never seen a boss battle on the intro screen. Can't wait to play the rest of your hack. Well, I'm working on 5-5 in my hack right now, so that means just nine more levels to go. I've been able to complete one level every weekend since I started my job, so by this, I calculated I'd be done by February 27. Then, of course, there may be some changes and tweaks I'd like to make, and of course my testers have to play it, so it'll probably be all ready in March or April. |

If I had to call out one thing..those train sequences don't seem all that inventive to me. You aren't doing too much that normal Yoshi couldn't do..other than of course flying straight up on the track. I would perhaps modify those long stretches of track to be a bit more loopy and curvy. Perhaps put one of those spinning spike sticks and have the track go in a circle around it.. Still though, great work. SNN, you have yet to post an uninteresting screenshot/video. Great freaking job. I really cant wait to play (and hear) more of your Keytastrophe. |
