Just bought and installed RE5 and the DLC from steam when I heard that the Gold Edition content had been released;

Haven't booted it up yet, but looking in the files, there's a ReleaseNotes.txt in the root that looks to be a full build changelog, but before the changelog is the following text:

These are release notes for Resident Evil 5: Gold

Cheat Codes:
Unlock locked menu entries : RT (LT in Bonus Features menu)
Add Money : RT in Buy menu
Add EP : RT in Bonus Features
Reset save file : LT+RT while selecting START in the START/QUIT menu (HOLD Shift key while selecting START is the keyboard equivalent now)
Run Fast : Hold L+R stick buttons down (down as in press the buttons)
Complete level in game : CTRL+ALT+F8
(Removed)Toggle DLC : CTRL+ALT+F5 - No longer functional
(Removed)Toggle Gold : CTRL+ALT+F6 - No longer functional
Complete All Chapters : CTRL+ALT+F4 (maybe this works)
Upgrade weapon : LT enables all upgrades, but you have to upgrade them step-by-step)
Grant All Weapons : BACK in Organize Screen
Show Mouse Hotspots : CTRL-F9 (Note: Only displays in keyboard/mouse mode... and if RE5 window is the current window)
Change Mouse Hotspots : CTRL-F10 (If this is on, it will prevent the hotspots from changing as you change screens... '[', ']' change the current hotspots mapped (DON'T USE)
Change Start Point : In Lost in Nightmare, Desperate Escape: Left Joypad (either one) change the start point in these levels

these don't work in the current re5+gold steamworks version, but does anyone know if these cheats are present in the old steam + GFWL version of RE5 or either non-steam PC versions? the releasenotes make it sound like a few of these were already present before the steamworks port

They weren't; the DLC / Gold things were never released in any form on PC.

huh, my bad. I remember seeing the gold cover on a PC-size game box at wal*mart a few months ago, thought it was for PC and had considered picking it up.

(also the RE wikia says Gold was released in PC form before at some point)
