One thing about the trooper names that may be worth mentioning is the name "PFC D. Zoid", which is most likely a reference to David 'Zoid' Kirsch, who worked on Prime 1, 2, and part of 3. Perhaps the other names of the troopers are references to either names or nicknames of people at Retro.

...Erm, just a heads-up xjonx, the couple of people who wanted it have already ripped it themselves. Also, rule #2 from the ROMs section of the Rules:

"No ROM links/ROM requests! If you need to upload a hack, use a patch; either IPS, UPS, or any of the other formats."

Also from the Rules:

"Be careful about bumping old threads. You should only do so if you're contributing something major and new to the topic, doubly so for general discussions. If it's a hack thread, it's usually OK."

I know you're a new user, but I highly suggest reading the Rules, just so you don't get into any major trouble here :\
