(If pictures arent loading, right-click it and press "view image", I guess [ img ] tags are broken?)
EDIT: pictures loads fine on Chrome but not on Firefox for some reason.

I found most of these years ago but I never got around to post 'em anywhere, so:

Adventures of lolo 1:

Region differences
"HAL" logo at the beginning is different between European and US releases(there is no Japanese version):

European is on left and US in right.
-

Title-screens and main menu's copyright text is different:

European is on left and US in right.
-

Thats all on surface, but there are some unused graphics(they are same in both versions):

Tiny-lolo walking to left, this is next to lolo's intro graphics where he walks upwards(to the castle) but there arent used anywhere.

Who is he? What was hes purpose? We never know.

Some random letters and " symbol, there arent used anywhere(title-screen and menu's uses different font/graphics, "PW" on HUD is separate from these), I tired to make table file from these but no results(or they are used as sprites? Idk)

8x8 Stairs downwards(?), this isnt used either, this fits with inside of menus "start/continue/password" border, and inside of "you beat floor x" message borders too.
-

Unused gameplay mechanic
This requires some explanation for those who haven't played lolo series before, so in these games there is mechanic where if you shoot away any an enemy, block its place with something, it will respawn/reappear in different place and this can be done multiple times with different enemies in same puzzle/level.

Now in lolo1 none of its puzzles uses this at all, and in lolo2 its used but only two times in same puzzle, while in Japanese version of lolo2(3) uses it 5 times in same puzzle, now whats interesting is that all games allows this to be done upto eight times inside of same puzzle, making it 100% unused in lolo1, anything above 2 in lolo2 and 5 in lolo3, maybe it was "future proofing" while they were making puzzles or something, but my point is that its completely unused in lolo1.

So I created test level with Neptune(lolo1/2 level editor):

And how it works:

---

Adventures of lolo 2

Now thats all with lolo1, but on lolo2 there are some regional differences and unused graphics too. And to clarify something, Japanese version is called "Adventures of lolo", and in other regions its "Adventures of lolo 2".

Region differences
Like with first one, they sure loved to remake their own logo for whatever reason:

European/US/Japan

European/US/Japan.

Few differences:
-Copyright text as usual
-"2" is missing on Japanese version since they dont have first one(also "2" is still on the ROM, more about that below)
-Seems like they forgot to add "TM" in Japanese and US versions, and fixed it on European release.

European+US on left, Japanese on right.

If you wait for while in title-screen, instruction demo appears in eu/us versions, but in Japanese version its actually demo from one of levels from US/EU version, which isnt playable in Japanese version.

European+US on left, Japanese on right.

Japanese version has completely different (and a lot harder) levels than us/eu versions, this is because(like in lolo1) for non-Japanese versions they took random levels from Eggerland series(same game, different name).
Also "pro" levels(type PROA, PROB, PROC or PROD as password) are same in all versions.
Its also worth noting that in both US and EU manuals, and even on back of the box has screenshots from Japanese levels.
-

Unused graphics

Large "2" number on Japanese version which goes unused.
---

Adventures of lolo 3
Now into Last game, which sadly was second last game in Lolo series .

Version differences

Japanese/European on left, US on right

HAL logo, why they always change it is still mystery.
-

European/US/Japanese

Just the copyright text and "II" instead of "III" in Japanese version.
-

EU+US on left, Japanese on right.

In short Japanese is more yellow-ish and there is some graphical differences, but in eu/us version they changed vowels(?) to random symbols, as if passwords werent annoying enough. Font is different, however one in Jap' version is used in us/eu versions tutorial levels.
-

US+EU in left, Japanese on right.

Like in Lolo2, all levels are different in Japanese version, and they changed "LEV" (level) and "FLO" (floor) to "LVL" (Level) and RM# (Room No.).
-

Unused sprites found in area where there are other cut-scene sprites(in part where Lolo&Lala are crossing lake to get into the castle, one before underwater levels). Egg and Egg hatching, 1/4 of Leeper(enemy), Lolo looking shocked(?) and pose of him falling down(?), these dont appear in that cut-scene or anywhere else.
---

And thats all I found for these three games(and arent mentioned on tcrf), there might be something I missed but I doubt it(and if theres anything, they are buried inside the rom). If anyone wants to add these to tcrf feel free, unless I get around to do it myself(which wont be anytime soon).

The HAL logo is changed in the US versions because it's actually H A I for "HAL America, Inc.".

The passwords were replaced in the western versions because NoA had a password-censorship policy to keep swear words (whether intentional or not) out of games. (maybe they found out about Metal Gear's FUCK YOU... password?)
(I don't know if NoE also explicitly censored passwords, but I'm going to guess yes, since the PAL version of Castlevania II had "censored" passwords but the NTSC version didn't.)

The alt attribute should be used to give a short description
of an image; longer descriptions should be given with the
longdesc attribute which takes a URL linked to the description.
These measures are needed for people using non-graphical browsers.

For further advice on how to make your pages accessible
see http://www.w3.org/WAI/GL.
You are recommended to use CSS to specify the font and
properties such as its size and color. This will reduce
the size of HTML files and make them easier to maintain
compared with using <FONT> elements.

You are recommended to use CSS to control line wrapping.
Use "white-space: nowrap" to inhibit wrapping in place
of inserting <NOBR>...</NOBR> into the markup.
