BTW, I found yet another treasure chest, I kinda overdid it and it looks like I've already acquired it.



This value hunting is going to be tough, getting all the right values won't be easy.
Also notice how your party will not follow you if you go into certain areas, it will either glitch trying even though there is no obstacle or something or they will simply wait for you to come back, like there is a certain path you have to follow.

hedgehog89 in what area of the map did you encounter this Beta Behemoth? I can't seem to spot his spawn area.

It was in Zone C, the southwest one. After I've warped, I took the path on the left, going up, when I've reached the room, I was trying to go up, in this part I don't remember well, but it was around the right part of the zone, in one of the tunnels.

With the invisible enemies, it seems they may exist and only be just one pixel, if they touch you the game will crash. That happened me once in Zone C.

For now, I will try to unlock the Zone B door, and essay the same steps I've did in Zone C to see if the battle happens again.

EDIT: I couldn't get the battle again, I walked around the entire area, but nothing happened, maybe I've deleted it when replacing 00 with FF for opening Area A and B doors. It seems however, if you go to the room at the bottom of Zone C, after warping, and get in front of the door that looks like going to a 2nd floor, it will make the area render properly, maybe that place is the entrypoint when one would get warped from the beginning. Interacting with the door, choising OK twice, triggered the Nemesis battle too.

In Zone A, the bottom of the room after warping may be the entry point for that area too.

Yep, the cutscene does not load for me - just black screen (can't be skipped too).
At least with Lightning as party leader, i'll try changing the leader.
Does not work for me with either Snow or Lightning and audio language does not make any difference too.

I'm 100% sure that alot of stuff going wrong are because we use FF values, we should try something else like 01 or EE. FF is a bad idea because sometimes it causes leaks or it's equivalent to that something has already been done/executed/finished like if you FF everything the treasure chests are going to be acquired even if you didn't get em.

could someone please make that freecam tool unattached to the characters

it's hard to get the angle you want with it being locked to the character



also did anyone crack the Aspect ratio ? 21:9 would be a dream some true , even 9:16

I've found the beta behemoth and ghoul group. Go to Area C, pick left route (downwards) then after the tunnel reaches the "station" turn right into the tunel which bends to the left, but does not go up or down.
They "should" be in there.

But yeah, it seems that mobs are hooked up to the supposed-to-be quest system, after you defeat them, camera slowly goes upwards and closer to the character and textless menu pops up. If you do anything with it, it teleports you back to the initial area and triggers Nemesis battle.

Oh also when you backtrack from that place some more mobs will spawn. I don't remember exact enemy names but back at the first station there'll be a pack of 2 ghouls and green tiger mob. In the right tunnel there'll be a red tiger with bunch of frog things.

I am unable to encounter any enemies on Area C. Messing up with the flags FFing everything causes the game to not even bother engaging an effect that there is an enemy watching at me and everything else simply shows that an enemy is watching me but I can't see any enemy. But if I FF everything it allows me to watch the cutscene without a black screen. This is going to be a real challenge.

I did some testing, it leads me to a guess that this level has a set of triggers which force the game to load in certain assets.

It'll load some tiles and all surrounding enemies - I must say that Area C has LOADS of enemies. So far i've noticed
Alpha/Beta Behemoths
PSICOM units
Gremlins
Ghouls
Frogs
Pantherons
Thexterons
Uhlan

All in various combinations.
Defeating first group you encounter will return you to initial area and trigger Nemesis fight. If you teleport back to explore further, the group that you had defeated will respawn, thus if you wish to explore deceptisol is handy.
Defeating same or any other group after Nemesis fight will just teleport you back to the start area each time.

Entire Area C is a bit like a maze, however ultimately it leads to this:

Area and from there it just loops back.

Also as Kazuki mentioned, If you walk up to the northern set of closed gates in Area A, it'll also load missing tiles, including the elevator.

You can make the elevator work if you try to make a jump of 99 and keep walking forward for a second. It will load the missing assets and you will end up on the elevator.

EDIT: I'm trying to find a way to encounter a battle formation of my own desire so I can see if the unused/dummy/testing enemies work. Any help? So far I was only able to T stance some enemies.

I think i'll jump in this one,i love FFXIII,not as much as VII but i really like it,i'll try to find enemy modifier codes too >.<

EDIT: i was able to change the enemy i was fighting against,i entered in a battle against a cactuar,freezed values,entered on another battle with another monster and battled against a cactuar again,but something went very weird along the way,ill try to find the single value by now...

Well yeah, I doub't it's as simple as freezing let's say all m254 instances. Also this method won't work if you try to fight against an enemy that you are unable to encounter at normal means, like Metal Gigantuar because some of those values represent the AI and the animation files of the enemy, if you replace just the m*** fraction of the string it will simply either freeze or load an enemy missing animations and T-stance since those animations you try to load don't exist. What we need to do is spot how enemy formations are stored and simply swap the id of one enemy with an other, which will load the correct AI,animations and model. I'm 100% sure for example that ALL those enemies I have listed on the first post are functional on the gameplay, even debugging enemies, they come with a complete set of animations etc.

Both PS3 and XBOX360 versions of the game contain all the elements for each version and they remain unused.
If you extract the main contents of the disc you will see that everything is there, XBOX360 stuff on PS3 disc and vice versa.
The PC version is a hybrid between them, it uses the elements of the savegame routine from XBOX360 and pretty like all the rest are PS3. The reason these options appear as [?] is because you need to meet certain criteria to be able to select them/unlock them, which the code for such thing is disabled here. I could find the boolean instances for them but I bet the game would simply freeze if you'd try installing those themes.

well,i entered a battle,searched for unknown values,entered on another battle,searched for different values,entered on the same battle again,searched for unchanged values,and was cleaning the way of values like this till i got like 15 distinct values,freezed them,and entered on a different battle and the enemy was the same,but mind you,i think the game pre loads the enemy formations for each area so there are no loading beetween battle and field,as with this value freeze,it only triggered the other battle,i mean,when i kill a Behemoth with the Cactuar's battle values,the cactuar model dissapears from the field,but he's still there "invisible" while the behemoth also dies,and while trying to find the correct values some weird things happened like when i freezed a value and entered a battle,there was Hope Snow and Lighning against Snow A.... lol Snow was attacking himself but couldnt be damaged by party members lol
and another time when i entered the battle it was instant win,and when i came back to the field,my character model was turned into an enemy's model

Also, randomly I came across a small difference with the pre-release model of Lebreau and the retail one.
It's mostly some shading in her face, shading in her breasts, these two blue things in her waist are slightly different and the net part of her stackings is darker now.



BTW, I remember people mentioning that she got censored her outfit or something sometime between development and final release, but I don't remember what or if it's even my idea or something, could somebody help me reminding me what is that thing if I'm not having wrong memories?

I found something odd while trying to get to Area D. There's some sort of switch at 1250, 0, -150. This the location where the Nemesis battle takes place. The switch only shows up after you kill Nemesis. Maybe some sort of switch to forcefully trigger the Nemesis fight again for debug purposes?

To me it looks like Lebreau got squished a bit horizontally, look at her face, thighs and waist. They're all a bit thinner in final version as compared to prerelease one.
Though the prerelease version had better breast texture, doesn't look like buttcheeks crammed into a shirt.

Or perhaps i'm imagining things, but still, those breasts man.
