| If someone wants to make a page for these, they can go right ahead. The ps2 version of gauntlet dark legacy has several sounds that are either leftovers from the arcade versions, or completely unused. This is just several sound that stuck out, but more are likely to get added. UPDATED FILE: https://www.sendspace.com/file/9v8vga Quick explanation of each: for the playable characters there are 2 unused sounds for each: a victory sound that would've been used when defeating bosses (used in legends, completely unused in dreamcast port and onwards); and an obstical sound that is totally unused in any version. Archer has a completely unused pineapple reaction. for the narrator, there are various callouts that were left over from the arcade version like "Hall of Legends". others are completely unused, like "light breath". the spider queen has an unused sound that would've been used for her charge attack (used in arcade legends) genie has a couple of roars that are completely unused (possibly in arcade legends). death has a sound from when being activated (shot or touched while in statue mode) that is only used in arcade version of legends. n64 version similates it with lightning sound. all other version completely ignore it. golem has a possibly new sound which is completely unused. That should be it for now. Let me know if this has already been shared in some fashion. UPDATE: added more files, removed genie file(wrong sound, used elsewhere), added sfx, added missing dwarf file. SFX: i have no idea where alot of these would've been used. one file is an obvious left over from the arcade attract mode (pressing start with no credits) Narrator : Secret stage callouts that never get used, several more arcade left over's, and unused powerup calls. 3 files that indicate missing the legendary item on a stage are also here, but i'm not sure of their unused status. I'll have to check these later. |
