KLayout v3.1

I haven't been playing much in the last couple of days, since I was busy in the "wonderful land of PHP™", but I did get to play a bit of Kid Kool and I regret that as much as I can. That game does exactly the opposite of "Know your engine when building levels". And "fixing" the controls basically breaks the game.
Maybe I can do a video of that...

I've been trying to play Five Nights at Freddy's.

However as soon as one of the animatronics isn't where it's supposed to be, I chicken out and exit the game. XD;;

Played some Counter-Strike Global Offensive lately but like any other FPS game I play on PC, I get stuck on just about everything in the maps. I don't know if it's because I use WASD with my right hand while using the mouse with the left hand (yes, I'm a southpaw, but still play games normally) or I'm just rusty as hell in this genre on the PC.

I got Etrian Odyssey 4 at release (music CD and all), but only decided to start playing it after going to a convention and attending a panel about the series, which reminded me why I bought the game. I just passed the half-way point, I guess? Taking a plot break to re-train my characters again, though.

If anyone else is interested in playing it too, feel free to scan that QR code to recruit my level 20 Landsknecht/Runemaster as a guest (with level 40 equipment), for some extra help.

I got my hands on the "Happy Virus". I haven't made a video yet (not sure if I should anyway), but this one shows everything.

And it's hard. The controls aren't exactly that good either. They seem like they're "fixed" in a similar way to Nintendo Tetris, except worse.

Fired up Drakengard on the PS2 before I attempt to find a copy of Nier, and I got to say that the storyline especially in late game is simply put... fucked up, right down to the antagonist of the game. Even Alma Wade from F.E.A.R. and the Rule of Rose crew is nothing compared to Manah from Drakengard.

Modded the hell out of my Skyrim (87 mods, which probably isn't that much), so now I'm wandering through a gorgeous Skyrim full of new NPCs, because vanilla Skyrim barely has anybody.

I also started playing Diablo III on the PS3. It's a really good game. Wizard is an awesome class too! Got to the end of Act I in one sitting.

I got it at Goodwill after waiting a month for it to go down in price. I picked up the CR2032 battery for it today and now it's alive and kicking. The last guy who owned it, apparently, was named Tyler. Pretty cool. Let's see where this goes!

I got Five Nights at Freddy's on my phone a couple of days ago. I'm too nervous to play past Night 2 because Freddy starts moving around on the third night, so I keep starting a new game and playing to that point.

I was playing Star Trek Online because of the new expansion.

Recent events have made me quit and no longer recommend the game. I actually wrote an article about why, but the gist of it is that it went from a game that treated free players well and was very friendly to casual players and those with alts to a typical "free-to-play" grindfest.

So my gaming schedule just opened up. Luckily, the Tales of Maj'Eyal expansion is coming out Monday.

Bought Trauma Center: Second Opinion years ago when it came out for the Wii. Loved it so much that I sat down and beat it in one sitting, AFTER jamming my nunchuck thumb in a door. For some reason, never touched it afterwards.

Watching the Game Grumps stumble their way through it made me want to play it again, so I've just spent a couple of hours emulating it through Dolphin! Just beat the Explosive Patient mission. I forgot how good of a game it is. Quite quickly managed to get fast again.

Now I just need to grab New Blood, Under the Knife 2 and Trauma Team. Stupidly, Atlus didn't release the last two over here.

I played a bit with some of the games I have for the GBA SP.
Said games are:
-An okay port of The Golden Axe
-An okay port of Ecco the Dolphin
-An okay port of Sonic Spinball
...all with a graciously smaller screen size. You can guess how well this went.

Played a bit of Cry of Fear up to the end of Chapter 1, a total conversion game for the GoldSrc engine (the engine used for the original Half-Life, Ricochet, and Counter-Strike). The team did a fantastic job with the visuals given the limitations of GoldSrc. It's free to download on Steam although you might need to run compatibility mode if you're using Windows 8.1 like me.
