Because my layouts always break on mobile browsers, I chopped off the text shadow and changed the gradient to make the text more readable.

Let's hope it works.

Mine is, well, pretty much the Shining Force dialogue box, minus the font (which i've recreated somewhere but couldn't seem to get working in my layout so oh well, not sure how readable it would be for others anyway...)

Thanks! Webfonts are still pretty unsupported, and you can't link them across websites, so unless you had FTP access, it wouldn't work. Actually, now I'm kind of curious if they work across different subdomains...

They do not (at least, by default as a security precaution. The behaviours can be enabled somewhere in server configurations, I forget where.), I tried for ages to make an old layout use a game-styled font to no avail, and I am hosted on rustedlogic as well.

It's a long story, but in short I forgot to properly link to the JPEG image after I realized the uploaded PNG was that big.

Anyway, fixed that.

I like it, but I recommend setting your own link colors instead of using the default ones.

They vary depending on what color scheme is being used, so they could wind up clashing with the rest of your layout.

Changed my layout again. I actually wanted the text to be white, but it was a little unpleasant with yellow. So I tried black. And finally I actually found a background that is both nice in design and fits in the format.

I just changed my background again. I don't know if I'm going to do a major overhaul anytime soon w/r/t my layout. The image is an illustration from the inside of the book The Wes Anderson Collection by Matt Zoller Seitz. I did some minor editing to make it tile seamlessly. Pretty fun.
