| Hello, I'm trying to dissect the game "Raw Danger!" for the PlayStation 2, and most of its data is kept on two large .DAT files. I've attached a much smaller .DAT in the hopes that someone recognizes its format and perhaps knows how to extract the other two .DAT files on disk. http://www.mediafire.com/download/j8xauvo32g6a2wp/IOP.DAT Cheers. EDIT: It seems that IOP.DAT is a header of some sort, a list of file directories/names, and then the data of each file without breaks. I've extracted IOP.DAT manually and for reference, you can see those files in this archive: http://www.mediafire.com/download/hxj93rxl2lle6sn/IOP.zip I think the bigger .DAT files might have chunks of files sectioned off, although (I'll have to check and confirm later) whereas IOP.DAT has just one chunk, and since they are much much bigger it's impractical to do by hand. If anyone has a tool to automatically extract these files, I'd appreciate it. |
