There is a built-in memory/ROM viewer in the Genesis game "Spider-Man and X-Men - Arcade's Revenge". I just found it, so haven't had time to find the "correct" way to enable it (if there is one), but this Game Genie code works fine for now...

Enables built-in memory viewer/ROM viewer/debugger. Move Spider-man (or other
characters?) to the Right to enter the memory/ROM viewer. You can scroll through
every ROM address, and every memory address by pressing X, Y, Z, or the
directional pad. Press A to exit.

UPDATE:

The A and D registers are also visible, as well as the ROM address when it entered. It appears this is a very basic "debugger" of sorts left in the game, used whenever the programming encounters a problem. I've run across a few of these before, but don't remember seeing one that still functions.

Messageboard attachments don't work as embedded images, because...you need to be logged in to view them.

Try using something like ImageShack or imgur.
