| So I just now found that the original Chex Quest levels were revamped in Chex Quest 3. I'm not too familiar with the game, so I never noticed these changes while playing. Gez points some out in this thread at the ZDoom forums: http://forum.zdoom.org/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=37866&start=120#p735498 (scroll down for overhead map comparisons - E2M2 is the only one with significant layout changes) I'm mostly bringing this up because I don't know if these changes would be allowed to be documented on the wiki or not. There is a Chex Quest article and it does already mention Chex Quest 3, but CQ3 is, for all intents and purposes, a fan game...the fan being the game's original designer! It runs under ZDoom instead of the original engine, and in addition to the new episode, includes ports of CQ1 and 2's levels. |
