Another round?
God damnit it still hurts.

I was cleaning some buckets some time ago, we had been painting walls at our house (at last ) So, I washed and cleaned then. After that I was supposed to take them to the storage room, so that they can dry up.

It has been a little cold, a few degrees celcius below zero. The parquet is generally frozen and when you add some fog in there -> perfect trap.

So, I run in there, carrying few buckets, *swoosh* and touchdown!

I get up and my back hurts, but I was more concerned that I couldn't breathe nor talk. Thinking "Great...", I try to get up, but my legs won't response. My hands worked though.

It lasted for awhile. First I remembered how to breathe, after that I got my speech back and was able to get up.

Argh. Anyone want a free injury?

To tell you the truth, I've always wanted to experiance something cool like that, just to say that I have been hurt badly before. I think the worst I have had was this one time when I twisted my ankle

The worst I've had was spraining my ankle :/

I've actually fallen on my back before, and when I got up, I couldn't breathe or talk properly for a few seconds...

Worst I had was a puncture lung after a bike accident. No, it wasn't fun. Morphine drip was okay though ;D

Also, heart doing some mis-pumps does not feel good. Happened some years back then.

Good that it was just a fake alarm, side effect from growing up fast.

Worst I've had was when my sister and I were climbing a cherry tree. She held a branch out and as I was climbing up, let go of it. Not only did it hit me in the face, but in the eye, to the point where my cornea was scratched and I had to go to the optomitrist.

I don't know why I put this here.
Let's see...

I've hit my head into metallic poles 7 times as a child (I can't explain why, in fact I accidentally managed to hit the only metal pole out of a fence made of wooden ones too).

I've flown off my bike twice.

A Doberman bit off my face.

I've fallen onto concrete and (somehow) scraped my elbows AND knees.

I've had a 104 degree fever twice.

But otherwise, I haven't had any broken bones or serious stuff. Even once when I was using a knife to cut a pumpkin in a very dangerous way, I only managed to give my finger a measly paper cut. I must have some enchantment protecting me or something.

This.

Almost (only once, was a little lower, but easily 103).

It is a bitch, seriously. You feel like you have absolutely no energy.

I cracked my head open when I was only a few years old.

The story: I had a bike. Light blue, with training wheels. I was riding it around the sidewalk just outside the apartment. Then, I learned quickly that training wheels aren't as reliable as I'd been led to believe - one went over the edge, and my head slammed into a car bumper. I distinctly recall a rather unpleasant dent in the top of my head, and I'm pretty sure that part is still a bit lower than the same spot on the other side.

I'm pretty sure that, for the most part, there wasn't any major damage done, but it might explain my memory issues and some of my motor skill deficiencies, among other little problems.

Ω > U
Best I've got are...

Turning blue in the chest and passing out on a horse at age 1.

Going asthmatic, seeing red with a bunch of pain (that I vaguely remember) and waking up in a hospital bed at 5 and again at 8 during a soccer game when my lungs told me to go fsck myself.

Nothing really more than that. No fatal injuries that I've succumbed to...just "genetic disorders". And here I am running my ass off in DDR. I was also active in sports from age 4 to 14. Probably why I was 6'0" @ 140 lbs. when I was 16 (not so now).

EDIT: Almost forgot about this one until I rested my arms and thought about why I would post, but I skinned my arms down to the bone when I was six when riding a bike, taking a turn too hard and going over the bike and into a rockpile arm-first. When you see white at age six and it hurts, the only thing you're thinking about doing is wailing your ass off in distress. I did so bad that -neighbors- came out of their home just to see what the hell was up. You can still kinda tell that my arms are burnt up from it to this day.

The only severe injury I've had was breaking both arms and a collarbone by rolling over an ATV. Yeah, that sucked.

I've had plenty of minor injuries, illnesses, and close calls (nearly drowning, etc) though.

I haven't had any injury worse than a badly banged knee. To put that in perspective, just imagine hitting your knee against a cement driveway at a corner. Ow.

Y'know, there is an obvious solution to that problem.

Give someone else the pizza.

It's also a freaky experience when you roleplay with said fever. Suddenly, everything is 100% better than it usually is, you see random shapes floating in the corners of your vision, and you feel like you are on fire.

I remember roleplaying and then becoming so tired I took 3 steps from the computer and fell on the couch, lacking the energy to get up until I'd slept for about 4 hours.

I once tore a majority of the skin off my leg as a child (like in 6th or 7th grade).

We were playing football of concrete after a big rain, and everyone was running around. I was running one way, and then made a sudden turn the opposite way. Obviously, bam, I did the splits and my right leg fell on the concrete so that the gash tore a bit more. It only hurt when I say it. I couldn't walk well for like a day or two or three.

That's as bed I get.

I got in a car accident when i was 6 and my lower body was pretty much crushed. I broke my legs in 3 places, internal bleeding and possibly other injuries I don't know about... Later, I broke my arm climbing a fence. I'm pretty much 99% recovered, though. Everything works just random pains and other little problems which may or may not be related.

I sprained my ankle by stepping on a can of soda. A bit pathetic, no? Also, I've dislocated my right pinky/little finger - screwed up on catching a football, thereby smashing my finger. At first, it felt like any other time I've gotten hit like that - lots of pain for a few seconds. However, this time was different - I looked at my hand, and my finger was bent pretty badly to the side at the main/middle joint.

In actuality, the only actual pain I felt was the initial impact and when the doctor snapped it back into place. Between those two instances, I kept it straight and felt nothing too awry. Of course, because this was during PE, there was sweat on my face. On top of that, my face was probably a bit red from the sweat/temperature - as if I was crying. It was a long day. I spent 3+ hours at the hospital. What was I doing those three or more hours?

Waiting.

Oh, waiting... how much I love you.
