| Hello everyone, I want to expand on the Super Mario Sunshine (Prototype) page because it was released in multiple regions, which as a result, have multiple differences between each one. I saw that there was no discussion page on the wiki for the prototype, so I referred to here for assistance. I currently have both the North American and Japanese versions, and was hoping to state the differences between each prototype, in which one of them is easily shown within the promotion videos on the discs. I am, however, having difficulties accessing or converting the tgc files (which contain the various videos and demos) using tgctogcm.exe, and do not know of any other tools used in order to access the archives. I have tried accessing them in both versions that I have, with no successful result. Would anyone have any ideas as to how to approach these issues? Peardian made a thread below regarding the demo, but I did not want to gravedig, I hope everyone understands. http://jul.rustedlogic.net/thread.php?id=15207 |

It does not seem to be working even in the command prompt or dragging and dropping the file onto the exe (which all other szstools can do flawlessly). The other possible file format you may be referring to is likely h4m.

Differences exist! Here are the files that have changed and some that have not to display where it changed in a link below. Note that the files with (2) are the July 2002 Japan Demo Disc, while the ones without are the original Super Mario Sunshine North American ones, which was released in August. There are no different audio for the scenes, sadly. They are in the zip file in this folder below.
