I often cosplay for halloween (no surprise there), with the one i'm most proud of being Connor Kenway last year, whereas I usually go as characters such as Fox McCloud and Disney's Robin Hood. This year, I was the main character from Bungie's old mac game trilogy Marathon (he doesn't really have a name, not that he needs one to keep the Pfhor at bay do Durandal's bidding)... I'm thinking that if my friend drags me along to any more of his anime conventions, I'm gonna make a Pico cosplay (if only my eyes really were green >.>)

As for tips, I've become close friends with my hot glue gun, much faster to fold over and hot glue an edge of fabric after it's been cut than sew it, imo, and it's pretty great for fastening and affixing things in general.

My eyes are pretty much borderline black, so from what I've gathered (which isn't much, mind you) i'd have to get special ones to make it seem lighter or whatever... I can't hand-sew too well, but my mother's sewing machine comes in handy here and there. If I can find any pictures of my Fox McCloud cosplay, I'll throw that somewhere, as I like that one quite a bit as well, made my own jacket based off the Brawl one, did the makeup for it as well~

One thing I'd really like to learn to do is making "arm socks"--basically, gloves made from tights that make your arms look like they're not skin-colored. As a Homestuck cosplayer, I need to "grey up" occasionally, and no matter how well you seal it, the fact is that grey paint on the arms just doesn't stay on that well (and doesn't always look as good anyway, especially on the hands). It'd make my life a lot simpler to have a pair of arm socks.

Honestly, after that I think I just decided to quit trying to cosplay, I neither have the time nor the funds to make a cosplay that I feel is good enough. :/

I generally don't cosplay, both due to me not being able to do a great cosplay and extreme lazyness in my part :/ .

The only thing that may count is when I did a "Pirates of the Caribbean" themed costume. It wasn't that great either, but still better than the absurdly old sheet of blanket.

I'm too OCD to cosplay. IT WOULD HAVE TO BE PERFECT OR NOT AT ALL.

I'm pretty critical of cosplaying in general anyway so it'd be difficult for my to be anywhere cosplay is going on unless I have something side tracking me from the wrong-ness.
