While we are in the theme of this YouTube mess, why not asking here if anybody has an account, and most importantly if they still use the classic or GoogleMinus one...just kidding.
I felt asking this because it's not fun to check the user's page to see if people here have a YouTube account.
Anyway, mine is "corea61", it's still a standard non-Google+ Account, and I'm proud of it.

But yeah, it's about random gaming, prototypes and general wierd stuff about gaming. Also Boom-Plus.lua, but not always for the usual reasons...

So, have you got a YouTube account?

well uh... mine's Monkybros, it has a couple let's plays and random other crap, including a couple game bugs. Been fighting against google+, youtube asked me if i wanted to use monkybros or my g+, i chose monkybros :3

Yep, I have a Youtube account. My username on YT is cuber456(surprise surprise). The majority of stuff on my channel is Zelda stuff but I have a few other non Zelda videos that revolve around video games.

I would bitch to you about my complaints voice my disagreements about G+ but we already have a thread on JUL for such things. I would turn into a broken record if I did otherwise :/ .

Simply by nature of using Google Mail, I have a Youtube account. Well, technically I have two due to Google Plus, but I try to pretend it doesn't exist.

That said, I actually do use mine to put up content. Nothing special, and nothing I haven't already posted on here. I'd have more if I uploaded every single little animation I rendered out, but I doubt anybody cares about 3 second loops of rotating Star Fox models.

I also have a YouTube account, which is on the Classic YouTube account (yeah!). My username on YT is MrTamk1s. I would have named it simply "Tamkis", but apparently someone had that name already when I created the account last Spring.

The channel is used for uploading videos, most of which gets mirrored to my personal/portfolio software engineering website and blog, "EagleSoft Ltd" and "EagleSoft Labs", respectively. However, due to real life (aka College and a job), lack of free time, and the current YouTube/G+ fiasco, I have not had much time and motivation to post anything recently on any of the 3 sites . The channel is mostly about rohm hacking/homebrew developement, and software engineering, though, ocassionally I do dip into electronics engineering and other things. I mostly hack Super Mario 64, the 16-bit Genesis Sonic games, and sometimes F-Zero X. My biggest rom hack project currently is Super Mario Bros. 64: Return of the Legend, which I am still working slowly on (due to having to "reboot" by moving object data manually from the old rom to a new rom, due to the changes with Skelux's latest ObjImporter).

Although I do still hack occasionally, these days, I am focusing more on creating original content, such as with my Tower Tic Tac Toe game for PC/Gen/Sega CD (and someday Android via QB64 GL Android and Atari XEGS via Atari-BASIC), Sonic CD Breakout (PC), and others.

This is mine. It features various LPs, though I have only completed the Serious Sam LP. My Zero Mission LP has been ruined by the recording software, the Deus Ex LP is going to be redone with the Director's Cut edition since the original is awful by comparison, SCYTHE Doom is complete but the remaining parts need rendering and my LADX will most likely need redoing since I believe I have lost the save. Plus, I wasn't too happy with it.

I have a terrible problem with starting these things and not finish them. University compounds the issue.

Eventually, I'll be throwing up videos of the games I make at significant checkpoints and the final game.

I'd actually have an idea of making an alternate account (KakComm) integrated with GoogleMinus just for the sake of commenting, while leaving the "video uploading" one a standard no-bullshit YouTube account.

I had a legacy YouTube account, but I let them rename it to my real name whenever that happened, and then I let a couple of indisputable copyright strikes accumulate on it, which disabled the only thing that made sense to disable, namely the ability to make videos unlisted. So I deleted that account and created a new one, and this one is attached to my G+ account once again, but with a big long number for a link instead of a nice user name. It has nothing worthwhile posted to it.

After a long struggle i've ended up with a Google+ Youtube account. Its not as bad as it seems though as i finally have SamEarl13 as my username (not linking to my channel because its empty atm).

Welp, to be fair, Google+ isn't bad. It may be useful, and it's getting a sort of "running gag" of me not using Google+.

On the other side, they could have not "integrated" it onto Youtube, probably because they want to "crush" Facebook. Not happening.

The last time something important like this happened, Netscape got squashed by MS (IE4 integration and all the crap that came with it).

I am still on YouTube with my non-Google+ legacy account, and yes, you can indeed still upload a video. If there are any problems with uploading videos on your account, it must be something on your end; ie, bad internet connections or problems with how you are encoding the videos themselves. I can indeed vouch for this fact, due to the fact that today I have uploaded (with no Google- nagging/problems) my first video since the YouTube/Google- fiasco. (Look at the date of upload.)

Oh, I forgot to delete that post...

A week ago or so I could start upload videos again without problems. Considering all Google is doing to make us use Google+, an idea like that could be considered.

Also, apparently, if a video does that (now it doesn't anymore) I need to wait over a day (not kidding - that's how the PB2X rabbit video got uploaded, I just needed to wait some days).

I still can't say my last words here, since the last videos I've uploaded were fairly short. I may need to get a longer video to check if it still gives problems.

I don't see many actually getting their videos or account removed. It looks similar to before (which was already bad to begin with).(Ignore this, I was wrong. I should take a better look at YouTube these days)

There are other things to get worried about however (apparently). There are rumors (we can't know if it's the truth or not, but considering what Google has been doing recently I'm not lowering my guard) that every Youtube video from January 2014 needs to get a 3-4 days approval process before people can watch it.

This would be heavily inconvenient. With how many videos are uploaded every day it makes me have doubts on this rumor. Also although I've heard it from a "not-unsecure" source, I can't find this anywhere on Google. Mmh...
