Seems to be an unfinished rhythm toy (apparently about vegetables playing torch relay... go figure). It shares some similarities with the Toy Car minigame*, so it was most likely scrapped in favor of the latter.
These files are present in the japanese version only.

Also the toy car has some early (placeholder?) car designs:

If you have the Japanese version (Minna no Rhythm Tengoku), could you upload the bmg files? I found some unused text, and need it crossed referenced to double check, and possibly find some more. Same goes if you have the European version (Beat the Beat: Rhythm Paradise).

I previously did a quick comparision of these files before, I believe I found some unused/beta text in the Kung Fu Ball minigame. I'm not completely sure, but from the looks of it looks like it was intended to also be a single player minigame.

I extracted the bmg files with the SZS Explorer and opened them with the BMG Editor (part of the CTools Library.)

From 40600 to 40621 is the text corresponding to the Manzai Birds minigame. The text is empty in the american version, whereas the english european version is filled with "Comedy Routine" text. The german language has (Manzai text) in its place. The other languages are filled with their according language name, and the italian version is fully translated!

Apparently the Chameleon minigame from the endless remix was planned at some point to be some kind of tutorial, I'm pretty sure of that because the last two lines of the text above say "The training ends here. Try all the games and have fun as you can!" and also the internal files from this minigame are located in content2\cellanim\tutorial\ver0\cellanim.szs

I'm pretty sure there are many other things that I missed, because like I said before I only did a quick comparision.

Nice catch! Most likely they were intended to have a small cameo in Remix 4, but the idea was scrapped?

I found some unused/debug .brlyt layout files:

I opened them with Wii Layout Editor.
"Error" crashes when I try to open it. MsgTest seems to be empty. I can't open any of the other layout game files. I replaced some of the game files with these, and tried to load them ingame with Dolphin, but no avail. The game seems to be hardcoded and crashes when trying to load any different file to the expected. Care to take a look?

Well, it's been a while since I posted here, and forgot about this thread.

I extracted all the audio assets from this game, and can't say I found anything unused. Except for one loud beep that's repeated in some files, but I think that might be a false positive/extraction error caused by VGMToolbox.

There are some interesting things like, soundfont clips and clips that are mixed over the game songs, like crowd mumbling and ambient sounds (birds chirping, wind). etc.

Not actually sure if the instrument/soundfont clips are used; there's that. AFAIK, the music in this game isn't sequenced (but maybe it is in some parts?).

PD: I see nobody has taken the effort to write my findings in the main page, might have to do that myself. But I'm not used to the Mediawiki syntax, so sorry if I make a mess
