I've known about The Cutting Room Floor for a while now but recently got back into reading the wiki because some Did You Know Gaming fact led me back and the place had way more content than I saw before, spawning an entire day wasted on you guys' wiki. It ruled.
I've always been interested in how video games are made, the trivia behind them, etc. As a kid I had always wanted to become a video game developer, but that dream died when I tried all through middle and high school to learn programming but eventually realized that it just wasn't my thing.
Nowadays I play in a band and go to college for the more practical and realistic goal of becoming an elementary school teacher. I'm still interested in video game trivia though.
Also, you guys seem to actually have a good community here. A rare luxury on the internet these days. I'm diggin' it.

Welcome! Jul is quite the gem. I must admit, I found tcrf a couple years back and I still tend to stay up late reading random pages  . Make yourself at home and don't be shy, few of us bite. |

| Happy to see new people here. I also agree with Abahbob that here and TCRF are great places. I'm definitely not as good as the other people here but that hasn't stopped me from finding unused content now and then. Maybe you should give it a go. |

Yea, I'm definitely interested in finding this stuff. It's not as alien looking as programming is to me and it caters ,more towards my interest in how games are made than programming does anyways.
I'm definitely interested in finding unused content in Kingdom Hearts and Star Wars Battlefront 2, both of which seem to be absent from the wiki, but I think I need to start with baby steps first so maybe I can work my way up slowly from GBA to ps2 or something. |

Well I started with a GC game, the Metroid Prime 2 Demo (which is still currently a WIP on my userpage, should get that done  ), so you certainly don't have to start from an older console. It seems that people are more interested in more recent games anyways. I'm not sure how many tools there are for looking into PS2 files or if SWBF2 and KH use common file formats, but I look forward to you looking into them  .

Oh, sorry about that. This is actually from an episode of spongebob but I guess they probably used it in the creepypasta. I'll change, it was mostly a placeholder anyways.

Yea, I've been having fun with the free camera in dolphin, and I did just find this interesting program: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZlHSF0CIr0w , so maybe starting with newer games might not be a bad idea.
edit: Nevermind, the free look camera is pretty bad in most cases. |

Kingdom Hearts 1, 2 and a few other Square Enix Games suffer from over-the-top copy protection which causes all files except the non-game files to be hidden. You'll have to look for a dumper, i'll try to help since i've been trying to look into Kingdom Hearts for a while now. |
