Hello, world of Jul. On the last site I joined with a forum, I never officially introduced myself, so now I am trying that out and seeing how it goes down.

My name is A.J. Miller. I am a non-Evangelical Christian, though hopefully this won't keep us from being friends. The truth is I am merely a casual gamer and know nothing about hacking, but I am here anyway.

I'm a poet. I like being outside, and getting to know interesting people. I am also addicted to finding new music.

And with that, please introduce yourself!

I am 20, 6'2", 140 pounds, male, and liberally green.

My pasttimes/hobbies include watching baseball, being a mischevious little punk, and eating copious amounts of beef jerky.

My favorite fictional character is Leggy. I created him forever ago in my head, and ended up bringing him to life as one of my many personas. He is arrogant, has a dark sense of humor, is a narcissist, and likes messing with people's heads. He is so narcissistic, he created a religion called Leggyism, which is the worship of him.

My favorite color is blue. To me it is controlled freedom. Water can only go where it is dropped or streamed to. The sky never gets bigger or smaller on Earth or at least much smaller. It is a constant I enjoy as I love the thought of freedom within fair limits.

Now for other stuff!

My name is Jake Kostik, aka Leggy. My dream is to become the king of the moon. But really to get married and have kids. I make bad jokes. I laugh and cry but rarely anything in between. I don't get angry, I just shrug it off and laugh, and if neccesary, when alone, cry. I am not perfect, I whine too much to close friends

Hello, A.J. I'm glad you could make it. Don't worry about being a Christian, not being a hacker, etc. We do have a reasonably diverse group of people here, and we welcome people with a variety of interests.

Anyway, I'm known as The Red Snifit around these parts. One of my favorite hobbies is drawing, although I seem to have less and less time for it these days. One of my favorite characters is my namesake, The Red Snifit, for having mysterious yet humble origins and being subtly unique among the literally faceless masses of enemies.

It would be silly if I said that my favorite color was anything but red. For better or for worse, the color always sticks out among the others. It makes me think of strong ideals and emotions.

I think that's enough about me. I look forward to seeing you around the board, A.J. I'm sure you have plenty to contribute to the community.

Ironically, I'm a hacker who rarely participates in the social side of the forum because I don't feel like I belong. Partly due to culture shock, and partly due to my age and completely whacked out interests.

I'm also fairly certain I have more naturally white / gray hair than anyone else in the forum.

Hey, nice to meet you. No worries. Pretty much all you need to do to get along around here is have respect. So, doing fine so far.

I'm an amateur game designer who does programming (all kinds) and level design. Every now and again (which comes out to like every two years or so?) I try to share something I've made with the community. Right now I'm making a level for Knytt Stories, which is a very pretty and surprisingly deep platformer. I have long-term projects as well but when I started I thought long-term was a few months and it turns out solo game projects actually take decades.

My personal goal in life is to be the Shakespeare of video games.

Hi. I'm Sukasa. I putz around in various things, run the board's Minecraft server, and generally play at being a software engineer. I'm not bad at it, either. You'll see me mostly around IRC if you ever come on, and am most publically active in #minecraft. Hi, I'm Sanky/Sanqui (equal pronunciation), the local random nobody!

My hobbies include programming! Also reading exciting stuff others wrote, looking at pretty pictures others drew, and listening to awesome music others composed. From time to time I try dipping my hand in each of these, but the water is always too cold so I just go back to the programming pool.

Hacking-wise, I work on fascinating things such as the translation patch of Telefang or Pokémon Red and Crystal disassemblies. In general a lot of the code I write winds up on my Github.

I like a lot of things, but Pokémon kind of stand out!

When I was little, my favorite color used to be pink. Later on, it was blue. Now it's purple, because it's the best of the two worlds. I have huge respect for other colors too though, of course.

I'm from the Czech Republic! That's somewhere in Europe. I'm a born atheist and I don't understand religion a lot in general. I don't go out of my way to learn about it, but I do find it pretty interesting on principle!

I'm really keen on IRC so stop by sometime!

19, 6' 3", male, and I have no idea about my political affiliation; politics bore me and I'm not well-versed in it enough to consider myself good enough to vote, so I don't. I'm also an atheist, but I think I tend towards agnosticism more. I have a thought process where I can't categorically deny a god, but I can't categorically prove a god; though, some gods I have mentally disproved. Of course, I'm not one to stomp on someone's beliefs; that'd just be douchebaggery.

Pastimes? Ooh, there are so many! I enjoy hacking Super Metroid, though I'd like to branch out into Metroid II and Zelda, specifically Ocarina of Time - the latter being my absolute favourite game, which leads on to my next pastime: speedrunning! I'm learning how to do an All Dungeons route of OoT. So far, I can do the entire child portion and get to the Master Sword in 48 minutes. On the other hand, the world record is low-30s, so I have a bit more to do! I also tend to program in C#. My current big project is a rewrite of my IRC bot; gonna make that thing so much better with databases and other cool stuff. I intend to take my programming to Sunderland University in September and get a BSc (hons) in Games Software Development! From there, I'm going to be making the best games in the world, because really, why aim any lower?

Favourite fictional character has got to be Samus, and I honestly couldn't tell you why. But I've been playing Metroid for years now, so that'll have something to do with it! And red is my favourite colour. It doesn't make me think of anything; it's just a really pleasing colour. I do prefer more crimson/blood reds though.

All right, here goes attempt #3 to finish this post without getting distracted and forgetting.

Hmmmmmmmmm...

I am... a weird person, from long ago, but not too long ago Acmlm-board wise. I specialize in a bunch of random niche things that you probably wouldn't entirely comprehend at first glance. Basically I'm an internet person, who does Computer Science stuff. My specialty is doing various software engineering things and also various writing things, though, so you can sort of understand from here I guess.

My pastime is mostly a combination of engineering solutions, writing about history of internet-related things I do, and writing science fiction. Also moderating IRC channels and running communities. I am known as the "Robot" or "Computer" because I think like one, though I wouldn't let that make you think I don't have emotions--those are also there, just a bit tricky to see engaged without something to give me a reason to activate them, rather than the normal way you might expect people to use them.

One of my favorite fictional characters is one I made up myself--Anthon Tark, a general who fought off an overwhelming enemy force who invaded his town after a devastating war and tried to convert everyone to a cult. He fought them tooth and nail, eventually encountering other foes but never wavering or giving in, and even becoming somewhat genre saavy about the nature of all the Mary Sue-ish enemies he kept ending up fighting. His deadpan attitude and tendency to write his own lines led me to use him in other games than the one he came from, and it seems there's no end to various things I could write with him in it.

Though the other importance is that character helped me learn how to also make other characters better, so it was more than just that one character that I was helped by having that experience writing that character.

My favorite color is a dark blue. It makes me think of the inside of my eyes, imagination, the sky, and infinity, and time, and calmness, logic and depths of the ocean. It is a neutral color that I like to use to set my mind in the mood to write things.

Hi, I'm MitchZer0, though I'm kinda trying to drop the name and just simply be called Mitch or Mitchykins, or Mitch chan. You may know me from that place on that site and pretty much any site since I'm practically on all of them (Except for that upvotey site and the site based on the number 9). I usually spend my days browsing and posting on everyone's least favorite board on everyone's favorite site, I go on jul just to see what's going on, I'm always on Steam because I've dedicated my life to PC gaming even though I barely play games anymore these days, have been getting back into CSS though.

I like gaming, my favorite game is Doom II because of it's bottomless modding community, I also like Quake and UT2k4. As for TV shows, I liked (and still kind of like) MLP, favorite show is Married with children, I enjoy anime like Cowboy Bebop and Azumanga Daioh. For music, anything from the 20th century is good, I'd like to go into detail but I'd rather not have people yell at me for having poor tastes, since I do like music with synth and reverb. For food, I like Chinese and Italian, but I also find myself liking diner food like Chicken and french fries, with a vanilla malt.

As for what I do on rusted logic, I usually drop into the Craziness domain and bring up some flavor of the month thing. What I did previous, well I did attempt a screenshot LP of Pokemon Crystal where I name Pokemon after naughty words, but I don't feel like continuing it. Also probably made the hugest mistake ever made in the 21st century or the best thing to happen since the invention of the seat cushion.
