Just checking this book title in the Japanese Shining Force II...in the April prototype draft it's "SEGA GUIDE", then it changed to "SCIENCE 101". I think that the Japanese book is something about mutating turtles, but I could be way off. I see the word mutation in there though.

Oh right, the really neat guy made of turtle meat. Still, copyright concerns.

Two other books that were changed. I think these are both smutty. Sir Astral is a bit of a lecher in the Japanese game and that's mostly gone in the English script, even in the early April draft.

'touei' can mean a few things: 投影 (Projection) and 倒影 (Reflection) are the two most likely translations; I'd go with the former.
