I briefly discussed this yesterday on IRC. [This is a condensed version]

For the past few weeks I have been catching up on my backlog and a few bits of articles here and there. To make things quick, I have less than 30 SGB articles and around the same SNES articles in the works and once I run out I'm not sure I want to continue the same path.

I want some opinions on my future content. I know there are console dedicated people already doing mass amounts of research, so that should maybe help me decide what system I want to move onto next.

Here are my ideas: What does everyone suggest for branching out? Keep in mind that I might decide to pickup something else, I just want to see what consoles would be a better investment to search for unused content.

1. Game Boy Advance
2. Playstation 1
3. More Gamecube research
4. Intellivision

Well Japanese Gamecube games are of interest to me.

F-Zero GX incomplete English content still needs usable pictures.
Star Fox Adventures I believe contains English also.

Except as I mentioned on the F-Zero talk page... My limited line of research has stalled on both fronts, because I couldn't find an option to make Dolphin load JP games under US mode (it only allows the other direction).

The main problem I have with Gamecube games is that you need an atrocious amount of tools in order to dig through everything making everything long and tedious. I am considering this, still.

I have a near-completed dissassembly of the Service Disk on my other computer back at home, so I cannot finish the article now. I also have a small amount fof Japanese and European Gamecube demos that I would like to poke around into a bit.

If you're willing to do specific recommendations, the developers behind TimeSplitters have mentioned that the final game still has button codes in it, codes yet to have been discovered. I forget which game in the series the devs were speaking about but I've posted about it here on jul before, for what that's worth. The games themselves may also be of interest as far as unused or alternate assets might be, considering the team behind the games (former Rare employees who worked on Goldeneye 64 and Perfect Dark).

Also, early gun models are shown on the back of TimeSplitter's 2 boxart. I always thought it'd be cool if the models were still on the game disk :p

Oh yeah, I made a thread about those codes here a long time ago. Apparently they're searchable in the game's code? At least with the first game.

Quick update. Game Boy Advance it is. I have been experimenting and already started drafting a few things. I have about 10 Game Boy/Super Game Boy games that I'm still looking into plus a few SNES games to get off the list first before starting Game Boy Advance articles..
