Christmas is basically a season of kitsch—crappy music, ugly sweaters, silly decorations—which I'm totally down for. I love being exuberant and decorating my apartment with reindeer stuff and playing really lame records on my record player forever. The only downside is all those snowman cups and purses I have are inadvertently "in season" around the holidays so I have to do stuff like wear floral.

Generally I don't do a lot for the festive season, however, this time due to work I will have to be going to a staff party for some reason... and at a bar too... which will be serving free alcohol... ALL NIGHT LONG. O:

Waiting to see if there's going to be any Christmas get-togethers with people at work.

I'm down for it but the problem is that people cannot seem to plan things. Or they plan things but it doesn't work out for you. Or plans fall through because people have other plans because HOLIDAYS ARE HECTIC.

I don't get the big deal about eggnog, but it seems to be a winter thing.

Milk-type drinks aren't that appealing when the weather's like 40+ every day.

I think a while ago we had plans for an East Coast Jul/Christmas thing either happening at my place or at Keitaro's place. I totally forgot about that until now, though, and it might be a bit late to try to set something like that up. We'll see, I guess.
