Go through the item list anyway, even if someone made a code. It's possible they missed something or didn't notice.
So I did, and you were right. There were quite a few oddities in there. I don't know exactly what to think of them.
Okay... so I assume this either means that they had more items you could appraise, (either cut, or just cut from American release), or they made too many slots for them, and just left it like that. A small note is that normally the appraised item causes a zelda-like text box describing what you got... but not for the ? items.
3D- appears as a question mark, cannot be sold but can be appraised as 3E
3E- appears as a question mark, can be sold for 500$.
3F- same as 3D, except turns into 40
40- same as 3E
41- same as 3D, except turns into 42
42- same as 3E
43- same as 3D, except turns into 44
44- same as 3E
45- same as 3D, except turns into 46
46- same as 3E
Then the list continues on for a little while as normal... but then... you hit your first blank, 6E, you can't do anything with it, can't discard, use, or sell, so this prompted the person who did this to quit I assume. But if you continue you get...
71- Juice
72- Pea soup
73- Cake
74- Gravy
75- Salad
76- Lasagna
77- Pork Chop
If you've played this game, you might recognize these as the food you buy from the restaurant. Well, in this game, when you buy food from the restaurant it is automatically eaten, so either the food used to be able to put in your inventory, or they had to put it in your inventory for their coding to work. Of course again, this could be a difference between the Japanese game and the American one. I haven't been able to get the Japanese game fully working yet.
But it continues on... and gets wierd...
7E- Clown
7F- Guard
80- Maid
81- MercenC
82- Sheperd
83- CarpentB
84- KnightA
85- MercenB
86- CarpentC
87- Chef
88- CookB
89- KnightC (Causes a green bar like you are selecting an option in a dialogue to appear)
8A- Alchemist (Same with this one, you can't click it because your cursor is on the item at the time and only appears when your cursor is on the item, so moving down to it doesn't work.)
Now those, I figure has something to do with your rescue list on the game because a name appears, right, skip down two people on your rescue list, and that's then next person, skip two again, and that's the next person, until it hits the end, Alchemist.
8B- Huge blank spot, instead of making just it's spot look blank, it makes everything look blank, apparently the first item column is on top of the second, and this blank spot makes everything below it look blank, of course you can still select the item it covers up... just a weird thing...
8C- Bee Plant
8D- Blank
8E- Rootrick
8F- Blank
90- Herb Plant
91- Blank (has that weird green bar select thing, like KnightC did)
92- Sleepie

95- Blank
96- Bubbles
97- Blank
98- HayaWolf
99- Blank

9F- Blank
A0- Soldier2H
A1- Blank
A2- Flatski
A3- Blank

Now this one, is the list for toy collectibles. Start at Bee Plant, skip down two, and so on...
A7-FF are blank except:
FC- Name is blank, description is a ton of ??? and strangely after one game night passes it turns into a sourball
FE- Same as FC except doesn't turn into anything.
