Hello again, I have problems with two emulators:
Gens (and it's siblings) all works fine and stuff, but I can't change the Key Config.
Everytime I try to, the emulator hangs up.
While this is not too important for normal play, it still will be crucial for Button Combinations (such as the Stage Select that was found in Dynamite Headdy).
MAME: I can't run this Aracde emulator, since there's no EXE file. Yes, I'm serious, no EXE file.
I hope, someone can help with those...
Off-topic: On a unrelated note, how can I insert my two cents to the talk pages of the wiki articles?

Gens has an .ini file that one can edit, which includes options for controls (odd how it crashes when trying to change the key config). As for MAME, which file did you download to get it?

For inserting your opinion on talk pages: go to a game's page and click on where it says "Discussion" (it's between "Page" and "Edit" on the top of every page.

About Gens, while it doesn't have an .ini file, it STILL odes have an .cfg file, which is good, too.
However, the buttons are encrypted as numbers:

Here are some numbers and the corresponding keys to use for that .cfg file.

They are intended for something different, but the number codes seem to correspond to those used by Gens.

As for inserting your own opinion, after getting to the talk page, click on "edit" and simply type in your message in the box. You also can also start a new section by clicking on the "+" tab next to "edit". After inserting your edit, click the next to last button on the bar to insert your signature.

EDIT: OK, tried it out, and from 3 games (CvS, CvS2 and Darkstalker's Revenge), only Darkstalker's Revenge worked...

CvS and CvS2 rely on NAOMI emulation, which is very power-intensive and appear to be very slow in MAME. Use NullDC for NAOMI emulation (it goes quicker).

Now I have got a new problem with Gens (the old one was fixed).
I don't know, how to change values of memory addresses with Gens.

Okay, found out, that NullDC is an Dreamcast emulator. It could be useful in the future, but not now.
Also, is it just me, or are many games for the Arcade really missing?
I'm mostly talking about the MegaMan brawlers (Power Battle and Power Fighters), but Arcana Heart 2, which I want to look into, is missing as well...
EDIT: I found a CPS2 sample version of MegaMan Power Battle alongside the japanese MSHvsSF and two Donpachi games. The two Donpachi games and MSHvsSF don't work for some odd reasons, because of the same reason like with CvS and CvS2: no ROM or CHM image...I need help

Off-topic: How can I use cheats in MAME? And does there exist a cheat for Darkstalker's Revenge, where I can replace a char with any char I want (including normally unplayable chars)?
