I'd have to agree, yeah. I dislike bonus fights for the very reason that getting mew would win you the game. It's nice to look at bonuses after normal matches, just for fun, but basing the scoring on them? Just too random for me.

I thought that's what they WERE doing, because Pokemon Battle Revolution used N64 models because the GCN games used N64 models and they couldn't be arsed to remake.... er, 500 models or so. =x

Maybe this is a sign they're going to have a lot in, though? Thus, they wouldn't have to redo every model for, say, 50 or 100 Pokemon they would put in?

A lot of them were made over all brand new... or edited and retextured. Either way there was a very big improvement from the N64 models on a lot of them... just look at the Staryu for example! Oh well.

The update mentions how you got to break it open(which was mentioned quickly in the bit about E for All I think), how you can drop it, and how if you trail behind by too much, you get revived with a free Final Smash. It seems it's turned off if you turn off Smash Balls though. I only saw the Pity Final Smash mentioned once online I believe, so it's good to have it out in the open with an official name.

I like the fact that it can be disabled. As cool as it looks, disablling the Final Smash will alow for a more traditional fight. That's something I longed for and I got it! =D

Meh, throwaway update today, though learning about the Pity Final Smash was interesting. I don't see myself getting it though.

How many of you think tournaments will now disallow Final Smashes just because of the Pity ones? I could see it happening.

The music was pretty cool though. Not a bad way to complement a meh update.

Well, obscure for many people, I hadn't even heard of Totaka's song until now actually. The game looks interesting, but learning to play it through trial and error is trying, to say the least, still, I'm figuring it out.
